From what I can tell, it appears that at least 5 August filers have been approved recently. According to Igor's list, 5 of the last 15 had August Noa1 dates. That gives me hope! At least the CSC is moving!

Filed for K1 August 2010

NoA1 received August 26

NoA2 text and email Feb 1 2011 :)

Packet 3 sent May 24

Packet 4 received June 2

Interview on June 14- APPROVED!!!

My NOA2 date is 12/15 and on the website I check everyday it still says pending. I also called yesterday for the first time for an update. They said it was pending also. So I bet a lot of you are already approved

I have been checking the reports and the most recent CSC approved K1 petitions were sent in late July, still no approvals from people who actually sent their packet in the month of August. I am looking forward to an approval (hopefully) in January! :)

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

This made me laugh. It just goes to show what a waste of time it is to call USCIS. I would bet most of the recent approvals could do the same and receive the same information from those robots they have answering the phones over there. They think we're stupid so they hire some of the dumbest Americans to man the front lines on the phones at USCIS. Just try to be patient, everyone. Y'all will be approved soon.

By the way, congrats Ace, and all of the other folks who are moving on in the process.

Base on the VJ timeline, our case will be adjudicated on Jan.7-12, 2011. Is this a reliable information? Our application will be on its 5th month on Jan.18,2011. We are crossing our fingers that our application will be approved this month.

We have almost the same timeline. My NOA1 was August 19th. Hope we all hear something soon!

My timeline says mine should be adjudicated between December 29th and January 3rd. Those dates aren't all that reliable, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :)

Yes, sadly my timeline prediction is no longer a beacon of hope. *sigh*

Actually I remember when I first applied and set up my timeline, it predicted my approval to be between August and September!

You know, someone should really do a documentary on people going through K1 hoopla. The climatic moment could be when the people start nearing the 5 month mark, finally begin to lose it and become all bug-eyed stir crazy!

Yep...that's pretty much where I am at right now... :energy::blink::girlwerewolf2xn:

Let's hope that we receive the good news this month. base on Igor's list those who submitted their application last August 12, 2010 is now being process, our NOA1 is August 18. Its good to wait all these months if you know your application is approved but if you receive an RFE (i hope none of us would receive it) it would be devastating. Calling all those August 2010 filers, if you received or NOA2 or you are approved already please update your timeline or update us.

Yeah unfortunately that data frame is consistently inaccurate. Only 7 non-expedited August (csc) filers have been approved (we're Aug. 5th and we're still empty handed). What's worse is that there are still a good amount of July filers still waiting for approvals.

Quite disappointing. Just pop up right now, if we try to call them and expedite our case would we get a positive response from them? or just a mono answer of "try to call back after Xnumber of days"?
