I am U.S citizen i have been living in colombia for 6 months i want to go back to the u.s with my wife and her son i went to u.s enbassy in bogota they gave me three forms g-325 i-130, i-864. my mother is going to be my second joint sponsor b/c i am not working in here. do i have to fill out a i-130 for each one ? do i have to fill out a g-325 for each one? i need help with all the paper work

If you qualify for DCF based on your residency in Colombia you will file it with the embassy. It's the forms you were given - I-130 petition per each person - so one for your wife and one for her son. Read the I-130 instructions for G-325 - you fill one out and then your wife fills one out. Not sure about the child, read the instructions.

For i-864 you are the principal sponsor and you have to fill it out and provide latest tax return - some even get 3-yrs worth of returns depending on what the embassy wants to see. Same with your mother as a co-sponsor - needs to provide tax returns and fill out I-864.

yup - one I-130 for yer wife, one I-130 for the child.

later, will also file DS-230 and I-864.
