OK slim, you and your buddies get good and liquored up and take on a tank batallion. Lemme know how that goes for you.

What slim types doesn't realize is that it's not gun-toting middle American fools that are protecting this country, it's engineers and scientists designing and developing the latest weapons. Without the latter, the US is a third world country.

Even if every single Chinese citizen owned three ak47, M-16 etc, they couldn't possibly compete with a modern army. The best gun in the world standads no chance against a F22 or a modern tank. Knowing Slims logic though, he would probbaly advocate anyone who earns over 100 million, buy a F22. Just in case the government bla bla bla..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Semantics. In this context "armed resistance" undoubtedly IS terrorism.

Still not terrorism. You totally do not understand what terrorism is, do you?

So you don't like being taxed, you don't like healthcare reform, you don't like bank bailouts, do you honestly think that gives you a right to shoot people?

Not yet, but it very well could sometime in the future.

Remember, our forefathers didn't shoot people because of the stamp act. However, down the road, once other things were added on, they did start shooting people.

I have not mixed it up at all.

We both know the numbers and I don't think either one of us has ever disagreed over the numbers (even though others have) but you said a few posts back the US has a 55 times higher rate of homicide and that's not true.

As you've evidenced, we have 63 times as many homicides, but our homicide rate is only 5 times higher. If you're going to compare apples to apples, please do so. Don't pull the oranges in there too and say "well, your population is 14 times higher and homicides are 63 times higher." Per capita... it's only 5 times higher, not 63.

Of course it's terrorism - if you advocate using "firepower" and violence to counter the authority of a democratically elected government because you don't like its policies - then you are advocating terrorism. QED.

Let's be specific here - you don't like healthcare reform. What are you going to do? Say "enough, by Jiminy!" and march down to DC? Try to take over your State government? Or are you just going to sit at home posturing about how having a sizeable gun collection makes you a patriot?

Just what is it that you want to do with your "firepower"?

You're trying to play with numbers again. Otherwise only 5 times Australia's 260 should equal 1,300, instead of the actual 16 thousand.

You conveniently forget that per capita means 450% more for every 100,000 Americans. Now how many hundreds of thousands of people are there here? thus the 63 times overall homicide rate.

It's terrorism and treason. Otherwise, Slim should have no problem with Al Qaeda, because they are simply a militia exercising the 2nd amendment.

I'm surprised you're back in this thread again today after I made you look so foolish last night. Your delusions have no limits.

You said the data is twisted, so show me how.

My town has 0 murders. A neighboring one had 2. So their homicide rate is 200% greater. My town has 6,000 people, their town has 4 people. So their homicide rate is 50%.

Okay I see, you are here to talk #######. Or you are so utterly stupid that you actually think comparing a town to a country makes sense. Based on your history of saying stupid things, the latter clearly applies.

Back to the blocked list.

OK slim, you and your buddies get good and liquored up and take on a tank batallion. Lemme know how that goes for you.

You are hopeless slim. You have a fundamental lack of information and comprehension in addition to your inability to actually read what is out there. Ignorance is bliss for some I suppose.

Why would I fight a tank battalion? You guys are missing the point that guns ensure freedom before it ever gets that far. The reason the govt. can't run amok is because police departments - that are outgunned by civilians - can't "take over" local jurisdictions. They're outgunned.

Since you guys are not smart enough to break this down on your own, I'll do it for you. Uncle Bob and his beer drinking buddies don't necessarily ensure free elections and day-to-day "good behavior" of the government. But, as a whole - when taken together with many other gun owners in their jurisdiction - Uncle Bob does.

So do I. So do others on this forum who claim they don't, but they do.

2. Actual belief that it will protect you against your government; which is basically loony talk.

See above.

The twenty or so independent [free] countries making up the first world that have bans or restriction being stupid

You're finally starting to make some sense.

What slim types doesn't realize is that it's not gun-toting middle American fools that are protecting this country,

Actually, it is. This is why we still run the world and not the Chinese or Indians.

it's engineers and scientists designing and developing the latest weapons. Without the latter, the US is a third world country.

Are you serious?

You obviously have no idea how wars are won. (Hint - middle America has a lot to do with it.)

Even if every single Chinese citizen owned three ak47, M-16 etc, they couldn't possibly compete with a modern army.

You're freaking nuts! If the Chinese were armed, they could kick anyone's @$$. The reason they're not armed is because the first @$$ that would get kicked is their own!

The best gun in the world standads no chance against a F22 or a modern tank.

A single armed man can defeat either weapons system.

Knowing Slims logic though, he would probbaly advocate anyone who earns over 100 million, buy a F22. Just in case the government bla bla bla..

That's a great idea!

Corky, you are really delusional, both in your comprehension and interpretation. Maybe some education would do you some good, either that or a hefty prescription for haldol.

Riiight riight, we're not smart but you are.

Actually, it is. This is why we still run the world and not the Chinese or Indians.

So you run the world because middle Americans like yourself own guns. Why not disband the army then, since the Slims of America will protect it.

You obviously have no idea how wars are won. (Hint - middle America has a lot to do with it.)

Go, tell me how wars are won.

You're freaking nuts! If the Chinese were armed, they could kick anyone's @$$. The reason they're not armed is because the first @$$ that would get kicked is their own!

So armed Chinese citizens could taken on an army could they. What do you think this is... The revolutionary war. Is that where books end in the mid-west or something?

A single armed man can defeat either weapons system.

Riight Riight, a single armed man can use their firearms to take down a tank or aircraft.

That's a great idea!

I thought you said guns is all people need.
