Hi all... I've been going through my forms which I submitted a couple of months back and I remember being very weary about checking YES to the above questions which ask about military service etc. Well I was in the RAF briefly so I checked yes. However I am nervous about checking yes on any of these questions. Do you think this will flag anything up. Obviously military service is a little different to being in a rebel group for example. However I also failed to submit a continuation sheet! I'm so annoyed with myself although I did mention my service at the top of the page on part 3. I'm hoping they put 2 and 2 together since I had submitted this info in my previous K1 application also.

Any thoughts? Is this grounds to be declined? I have my interview on 16th August

If its an issue, they may ask for more information. Mistakes happen all the time.

Now if you were trying to hide it, and they found out. It would be grounds for denial.

oh ok.. I was more concerned or worried with the fact I have checked Y on an area where the majority of the questions clearly cause concern for them. Well I have not hidden and didnt really see why it would be a problem - just annoyed I didnt explain it since it groups military service in the same category as being in some kind of rebel group. Lets hope the officer realises and looks at the top of the sheet showing my service dates.

thank you!

I think we are still on the same side, if you had done a stint in say the North Korean air force, could be different.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
