Just got an email from the Congresswomen's office, interview has FINALLY been scheduled for March 15, 2011!!!!! :dance:

Now hoping that they approve on the spot!

:wow: Wow, that must have been frustrating, waiting all that time. :clock: Sounds like your file got lost on someone's desk. :bonk: Well, congratulations on finally getting an interview appointment :dance: and for being patient all this time. I don't know what I would have done if it had been me. Anyway, March 15th is just 2 days before St Patricks day, so after you are approved you can celebrate by drinking lots of green beer!! :lol: Congratulations Again! :dancing:

Well, if biometrics is between you getting the EAD then they'll make sure you get that. Your objective is EAD, which is what you should emphasis on when speaking to the Congressman personnel. I would

Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

I got a call from the Congressman's office a few minutes ago: AP approved and biometrics scheduled for the 20th of october!

11/03/2010 - Received at Chicago address Fed Ex delivered - (Day1)

11/08/2010 - Received Text and email confirmation, checks cashed - (Day6)

11/12/2010 - Received Hard Copy NOA's - (Day10)

11/13/2010 - Biometrics appointment scheduled for December 8th - (Day11)

11/17/2010 - Successful Biometrics walk in - (Day14)

06/14/2011 - still nothing, no online update since 11/17/2010. so frustrated (Day lost count)

08/03/2011 - received email that interview is scheduled for 09/08/2011

09/08/2011 - interview Garden City - received first card production ordered email :)

Avoid green beer. Its the same chemical they use to show urine in swimming pools... OK only joking. :lol:

Hello i was reading your timeline and wanted to ask, have you tried calling USCIS abt your case? it's been three months since your bio, you should at least have your EAD by now. Try calling them and see. Here's a link to find who your representative is https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml as to what to say, i'm not sure, but i guess you could tell them you've applied for AOS and the five month time frame has come and gone and you haven't receive anything yet...they may be a sample letter on here somewhere. Good luck with the process.

8/26/10: Checks Cleared and Case Transferred to NBC

8/30/10: NOA Text/ Email and Hard Copy

8/31/10: Case Status Appears On USCIS Site

I found her through http://www.house.gov/zip/ZIP2Rep.html and they asked me to speak to a person in her office deals with the immigration related matters. I told the whole about history and delay, she wanted the copy of receipts and wrote to NBC and NY District office.

Interview tomorrow :)

I'm sure you know the drill. Just have all your paperwork in order and you'll be fine. It's Murphy's Law, whatever paperwork you bring, they won't ask for and whatever paperwork you forget to bring they will be sure to ask for, so just remember to bring everything, and they will probably not ask to see anything and just quickly approve you. :D Good Luck !!! :thumbs:

Got approved! Yayyy!

IO stamped the passport but didn't say anything about Condition but I am sure it will be on the card when it arrives.

No, I had my interview on January 03 and I got my welcome letter on March 29,and my green card on April 03.

Jul 2,2010 : married

Aug 19,2010 : mailed AOS and I-130 package.
