Despite receiving RFE for the traffic case @ interview my attorney just received letter stating the I-130 has been approved. Not sure what this means for the final word. Waiting....

Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

Hello, no nothing yet, they just took my I-94 and they give the paper that i have to wait for an answer, i heard that in NYC they usually are doing that now........

Jul 2,2010 : married

Aug 19,2010 : mailed AOS and I-130 package.

Aug 24,2010 : AOS package received by USCIS

Aug 31,2010 : received text confirmation

Sept 4,2010 : received hard copy of NOA1 for AOS,EAD,AP

Sept 7,2010 : received biometrics letter. Scheduled for september 16.

Sept 16,2010 :Biometrics, successful

Sept 20,2010 : Touched

Oct 18, 2010: Card Production for EAD.

Just spoke to the congressmen's office and they said my case has been ready for interview since September (A IO on the phone told me that once) but because the office is backlogged I have not received the interview call.

I am surprised I am the only August 2010 filer with an open case...if thats the case its good for other people to not be in a limbo.

Last week the lady from the Congressman's office sent us a response from the USCIS that the case will be made available for interview soon. Today I had an Infopass appointment and I was informed that yesterday my case was transferred to the NYC Field office and I should be getting scheduled for interview soon. Fingers crossed!

Yeah, still waiting. Getting congresswomen involved definitely moved the case, even the IO during my Infopass was surprised how/why my case was 'diverted'.

Just hoping that NYC Field Office wont delay any further before scheduling the interview.
