NOPE. The last time we called inquiring about the EAD, they told us that Boston is taking about 5months for processing AOS's.

let's sit and wait...

Biometric walk-in was a breez at the Alexandria, Va, Service Center. Staff is very professional and facility is clean and very organized. it took about 15 minutes to finish the process evern though getting there is a bit challenging.

Just a question: MY AP status on the USCIS website mentions that it is in "Post Decision Activity" (the 4th circle) and it states: "On November 1, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice."

Does this mean that they sent the AP travel document on Nov 1st? Or that they just sent me a notice that mentions it was approved (...and I have to wait for them to send me the actual AP travel document)? On the website, when you see your AP status do you get the 5th circle of Card/Document Production or it stops at the 4th circle? I know this question is annoying, but I am desperate to make international travel because of family matters.

Thank you in advanced!

Have other people received an RFE for AOS? if so, what information were they looking for and etc.?

Already received EAD and AP documents...

There's really no way to tell unless you get your letter in the mail. Each case will be different. They might need more evidence, another form to replace one they misplaced or maybe the were confused by your I-864 paperwork.

Successful walk-in in Alexandria today. There were probably 20 people waiting, but she let us go right through, and we were in and out in less than 20 minutes. It would seem most of the others were there for something else, as they were given numbers in a different queue than the one we were in. Now, I'll just check our case compulsively until they authorize EAD production...

With all the build-up to the interview being anti-climatic, the interview itself was a breeze .... probably the most sweet-spoken I/O they have anywhere in the US! She was an Asian lady... and took no more than 10 mins of ours! She said I am approved, and that the green card would be on its way, reaching me in 10 days or so!

Thank you Visa Journey, for serving as an amazing platform for immigrants. Thank you, all the members who have helped us through the process - and we could make do without an attorney! And, thank you, all the well-wishers!

May God be with everyone going through the process , and we both wish you all the best of luck!

If I was you, I'd call today and if necessary, schedule an Infopass appointment at the local office where your interview is scheduled. Just explain your situation - you never know, they might move your interview forward or at least reschedule at an office closer to your new residence. Good luck - at least you are at the final stage!
