received the EAD card in the mail yayyyy!!!

Does anyone who has already gotten their social security number know if you get your number the same day you go into the office? I know you don't get the actual card the same day- but were they able to tell you what your number is?

We were told we could call the next day to get the number or pick up a temporary card, but we had no pressing need for the SSN as L got it before we were married. Now that he's got his EAD and is interviewing, once he gets an offer, he doesn't need to get a new card. We're going to wait until he's got his green card before getting a new card, though.

I've received the appointment letter for interview on december 02!

The letter says that we don't need to bring our children unless otherwise instructed but we are going to bring our 5 months baby with us (he will be 6 months by the time).

Do you think that will be a problem? He is Breast feeding so we can not really leave him with a babysitter and my spouse's family is out of question.

Anyone in the same situation?

FYI he was born in the USA a month after my POE.

We are, though our daughter will be a year. I've heard of people bringing their babies. We are planning to bring her but have my sister or a friend come who can sit with her in the lobby if need be, which may be less of an issue with your baby who is probably not as mobile as ours.

Oh wouah under 90 days. When I called on the 19, i was told that Boston is taking 5months for I 485.

At least we will get the EAD soon

Was it 5 months from NOA or from biometrics?

Anyone with Boston as their local office get transferred?

Anyone get an interview letter?

I've had neither. I guess no news is good news at this stage....

I got the card in the mail about a week after going to the SSA office. At the office they just gave me a letter stating that a SSN had been ordered for me, but not the actual number.

Got another email yesterday EAD sent to production

TODAY got a notice that my 2yr Green Card:

"On November 1, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days. During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision."

Does this mean I'm approved?

well congratulations, it definitely means that you're approved!

you are one the of the lucky ones i think, you got approved without an interview, and did not have to wait that much! we have similar timelines but unfortunately, i will have an interview, i wish i did not get one too, but anyway just a couple of days left to my interview than this process will be over for me too

Im in Boston filed Aug 23rd, I got transfered to CSC (See my timeline below) I walk by that office everymoring on my way to work, i will stop in and tell them to hurry up for you!!!!

NOPE. The last time we called inquiring about the EAD, they told us that Boston is taking about 5months for processing AOS's.

Something good finally happened! My AP was approved yesterday! And for the very first time (only after 75 days from when USCIS received my application!) my AP and EAD cases status were finally available on the website yesterday. Haven´t received my biometrics appointment notice...Best of luck to everyone!
