Well, if biometrics is between you getting the EAD then they'll make sure you get that. Your objective is EAD, which is what you should emphasis on when speaking to the Congressman personnel. I would

Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

My package was received last Wednesday - haven't heard anything (no email, SMS, land mail) and no checks cashed.

Not going to start to get stroppy until the end of the month :)

Seems like it's taking a little bit longer this month than in previous months, from the information I've been able to glean online...

I have filed for 130/485 concurrently too, and haven't heard back anything as yet. Are you both adjusting from B1/B2 visa? Let us hope for the best, and I think tomorrow something should positively happen! Do keep us posted.

No, she was (is?) a J1 overstay (au pair visa).

Just got the email/SMS notice today (1 week to the day after certified delivery via USPS). Money's still in my account, though.

At least this is progress!

Congratulations :) You must be breathing a sigh of relief. The day 10 has passed off for me now. It's too late to receive anything today. And I highly doubt there would be any movement over the weekend. So off to Monday for some more wait!

Phew.. this is killing me :-(

We mailed ours off on Tuesday! I tracked the package online and its been recieved but the cheque hasn't been presented yet... Heres to a swift and much easier AOS process for us all. Good luck everyone :)

I'm thinking that maybe my I-94 isn't "in the system yet": I got back from our honeymoon on 8/5 and sent the paperwork the next day. It was received in Chicago on 8/11...

I remember in '04 when I was first applying for my SSN, my application could not proceed because the I-94 hadn't been "put in the system yet"... It took 3-4 weeks back then even though I gave the lady at the SSN counter my passport with I-94 stapled in it.

Hopefully this is the reason for the hold up. Someone I know whose paperwork arrived last Monday has already received their electronic NOA1's / had their checks cashed.
