Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

Still no biometrics appointment. I called the other day, and got a "referral" for the biometrics. Not sure what that means, but it sounded good. I thought that maybe we'd see something on the website or see a letter soon, but it's been 3-4 days, and nothing yet. Here's hoping it's en route, I guess. Anyone else being processed through Fairfax, VA?

08/13/10 - Day 1 - Delivery Confirmation at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

08/20/10 - Day 8 - Electronic (E-mail/SMS) confirmation of acceptance/NOA issued for I-130, I-485, I-765

10/09/10 - Day 58 - EAD (I-765) case visible online, others still not showing up.

10/21/10 - Day 70 - Spoke to 2nd-tier support, got a "referral" opened on the biometrics appointment (as in, why isn't there one yet?)

10/29/10 - Day 78 - Biometrics appt letter received (scheduled for November 18 in Alexandria)

11/04/10 - Day 84 - Successful Walk-In Biometrics at Alexandria, VA

11/04/10 - Day 84 - Email/SMS notice of "Card Production Ordered"

11/09/10 - Day 89 - Email/SMS notice of "Card Production Ordered" (same text, same everything, just a second notice)

11/12/10 - Day 92 - Email/SMS notice of "EAD Approved"

11/12/10 - Day 92 - Received EAD card in mail (same day as notification of approval, no other snail mail notices)

12/07/10 - Day 117 - AOS Interview letter received (scheduled for January 10, 2011)

01/10/11 - Day 153 - AOS Interview complete - verbally approved, but we're not believing it until the card shows up.

01/14/11 - Day 157 - Electronic (E-mail/SMS) notification of approval of I-485

01/15/11 - Day 158 - Received notice of I-485 approval in mail

01/18/11 - Day 161 - Received Green Card in mail!

We are being processed through Fairfax, and still waiting here too. My husband (I'm the USC) called the other day and they put in a service request but ... nothing yet. The 485 still isn't showing up online either for us so I can't even see if anything has been touched. :\

We filed with a lawyer and called him about it last week too, he said all the cases he's seen processed through Fairfax in the last couple of months have taken about 2-2.5 for a biometrics letter. Hopefully something will happen for both of us soon!!

Hi, im worried guys...the 18 they put on the page that my card was sent to production, and then on the 22 they put the same and today they updated the info and said that on the 25 my card was aproved.... and it is on post activity.....so i dont know

Aug 19,2010 : mailed AOS and I-130 package.

Aug 24,2010 : AOS package received by USCIS

Aug 31,2010 : received text confirmation

Sept 4,2010 : received hard copy of NOA1 for AOS,EAD,AP

Sept 7,2010 : received biometrics letter. Scheduled for september 16.

Sept 16,2010 :Biometrics, successful

Sept 20,2010 : Touched

Oct 18, 2010: Card Production for EAD.

It does that, your card has most likely already been mailed and you will see it in a day or two.

I just got approved for my EAD aswell, works out good as I interviewed for a job on tuesday and the decision is been made tomorrow so if i am the lucky applicant i can say yes with no hesitation, plus I can get my EI started once i get my card if i dont get the job. Nice to see another bostonian-canuck here not too many of us

Good luck! Things seem to be moving smoothly so far (knock on wood).

Received additional updates yesterday and today:

AP papers received in the mail October 25th and today received the text/email: "On October 26, 2010, we ordered production of your new card." EAD on the way...

AOS Status:

8/20/2010 - Mailed AOS package (130/485/131/765) to Chicago Lockbox

8/24/2010 - AOS package received by USCIS

9/1/2010 - Received USCIS confirmation emails (NOA1)

9/2/2010 - Checks cashed

9/3/2010 - Received NOA1 hardcopies

9/7/2010 - Received biometrics letter (Appt: 10/1/2010).

9/16/2010 - Biometrics walk-in successful

9/16/2010 - Cases show up in online status check

9/17/2010 - I-485 touched. I-765 touched.

10/21/2010 - I-131 email/text received. AP approved (58 days)

10/21/2010 - I-765 email/text received. EAD approved (58 days)

I got a second email/message about my EAD being sent into production today (I thought they had done it already last week, when I got a first email). USCIS really wants to make me work :)
