Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

I got a call from the Congressman's office a few minutes ago: AP approved and biometrics scheduled for the 20th of october!

Man! Lucky all you people getting your EAD's approved this week! Ours is SUPPOSE to be, however it hasn't been touched since Sept22/2010.

Our AOS however has been a lot....

Hope my EAD comes soon!

Hello everyone,

Even though i received my interview appointment letter, there is not any update on my aos case number accordingly, it is still on the acceptance sign ( so no updates since noa )so is this normal? i am asking because i haven't had any updates on ead and ap, since biometrics appointment too, i am just sick of checking my case numbers every morning to see if they update any of them or not :(

Aug 23,2010 : AOS package received by USCIS

Aug 31,2010 : received text confirmation

Sept 1,2010 : check cashed

Sept 4,2010 : received hard copy of NOA1 for AOS,EAD,AP

Sept 7,2010 : received biometrics letter. Scheduled for Sept 27,2010

Sept 9,2010 : 1st try-Walk-in Biometrics, not successful

Sept 14,2010 :2nd try-Walk-in Biometrics, successful!!!

Sept 15,2010 : Touched!

Oct 9,2010 : received interview appointment letter in the mail, scheduled for Nov.9 ( mailed on Oct 5)

Oct 22,2010 : got EAD approval e-mail! (dated Oct. 21)

Seems like there's been a lot of touches on AOS's the past couple of days and quite a few EAD approvals...This is to hoping i get some good news soon :thumbs: . My EAD and I-485 have been touched two days in a row since yesterday...Lets see what next week brings...Hopefully it comes bearing a Bio letter :yes:

We didn't have any updates for the interview letter at all. Just switched when there was green card production.

Finally received my EAD card yesterday...

My first production of card was ordered on the 15th of October, then I received the 2nd production notice on the 18th of October and received my card on the 21st of October so all up less then a week for delivery...

ok, so I should expect to find it in the mail by the end of October. I already scheduled an appointment with the DMV for Nov. 1 - holiday in Italy, not here :) I hope I won't have to cancel it.

why didnt you wait till the whole process was over before planning a trip? I already have headaches just dealing with everything i couldnt imagine worrying about a trip right now.
