You should be good with your DMV appointment - the EAD should be in your mail by 30th of October. Happy to hear about your EAD and biometrics.

thank you. from your timeline I see that you received your card 4 days after it was sent to production. I wish mine was that fast, I'd run to the DMV without appointment at 5 am to get a spot.

So I just got from my husbans Biometrics app, its a shame that there were no one in that office, i thought that it would be pack, taking into consideration after almost 2 month waiting for the appointment and having to contact my congresman to expedite things.... its a shame... but thank God this is done.. now its suppose to be authorized withing this week or next week, as it a VJ statistic! hopefully it get authorized soon...

I just got approved for my EAD aswell, works out good as I interviewed for a job on tuesday and the decision is been made tomorrow so if i am the lucky applicant i can say yes with no hesitation, plus I can get my EI started once i get my card if i dont get the job. Nice to see another bostonian-canuck here not too many of us

L's EAD was approved yesterday, and the card's been ordered! No word on AP or AOS. He's glad cos he scheduled his interview for next week, in the hopes he'd be approved before then, so if it was offered, he could accept pending reciept o the card

Interesting note: no RFEs means that the 5cm x 5cm passport photo we had leftover from his K1 interview was acceptable even though it's larger than the passport photo sized called for.

I really dont think you need to submit the pictures as i only submitted 2 passport style pics and was expecting an RFE for this and i was approved on tuesday for my AP and today for my EAD. I know they use the pics from your biometics apt for your EAD and AP cards as I know someone who has these cards and the pics are from her bio apt. Now for the irony of it all, I had a job interview on Tuesday didnt tell them about my EAD as i just wasnt going to accept it, so i got my EAD approval at 2:30pm and a job offer at 5:30pm start monday!!!
