Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

I got a call from the Congressman's office a few minutes ago: AP approved and biometrics scheduled for the 20th of october!

Based on the NYC timeline they are taking 126 days to process. That means as of:

10/16/2010 they are processing 6/11/2010 applications

11/16/2010 they will process 7/11/2010

12/16/2010 they will process 8/10/2010 --->

If thats the case would it mean that they will issue the interview letter around 12/16/2010 or I will have interview around (not exact) 12/16/2010. The reason I ask is because if the interview is after 12/16/2010, I wont worry at all.

I think that these timelines are either NOT applicable to us or NOT accurate. If they are applicable, they certainly are not accurate for cities other than NYC. Here is why:

1) AmyKathleen2005 applied from Cleveland, USCIS website shows 4 Months processing time (Took amykathleen a little over 2 months)

2) Bruin85 applied from Los Angeles, USCIS website shows 4 Months Processing time (same, took Bruin85 less than 3 months.

I had applied concurrently from Chicago office on August 6th - and took me less than 3 months too. On the website, it says over 4 months I think. You just hope it's a delay in error, and it would be sorted out soon. You never know - you could get the letter this monday :) We all shall pray for you!

Just curious, what visa did he enter on?

He entered on a B1/B2 but it's long since been overstayed.

I have a question: I have my bio appointment next wednesday and I sent my package almost 2 months ago. Since then, my AOS was touched only once on Sept. 11 and then no more. I received a letter from USCIS stating that my AOS is frozen until I do biometrics. I didn't get any RFEs. So here's my question: do you guys think I should consider my case safe from RFEs, or could I still get one?

We have similar time lines, and my bio app will be next Thursday, so I wont be impress if ill get the same letter until bio are done! that sucks! :(

After about a month waiting, I have received the AOS interview letter scheduled 11/17.

And suddenly AP case showed up at the site.

EAD is also in the card production process.

Im so sorry to hear that.... But what about doing some Charity work until the EAD arrives? Thats what I am doing and I know lots of Animal Shelters or other Charitys are always looking for help! This would at least take some of your boredomness away!!!
