Hi mathranik. Did you see any touches on your AOS cases before you got your interview letter? you can see from my signature that i filed almost 2 weeks before you, and until now i don't have an interview letter yet.

For the flip side of the equation (a transfer case), we didn't get touched until the day after the CSC transfer notice.

We're making a long weekend of our biometrics (since we live a fair amount away) - leaving tomorrow and returning afterwards on Tuesday. It'll be nice to get away for a bit.

Went to biometrics walkin yesterday and on the same day my AP and EAD were approved!

Since you filed 10 days before me, I should presume (depending on your local office), you would get your interview letter in the next week, positively. IIRC, you are adjusting from a non-immigrant visa too?

Yes, from H-1. I know I should use the other forum but this is more popular besides I dont think there is a huge difference in the timeline, if any, between people filing from K1 and the ones from non-immigrant visa.

based on what I have seen and heard NYC is slow but some people have gotten it. Keeping my fingers crossed that the interview is for the end of October or after 1st week of November.

I received my EA Card Sept. 30 and we're still waiting for any mail or changes in the website for the AOS....

Well, this is the 3rd or 4th time I've called, since our case numbers are still not showing up on the website, even though our NOA is dated August 20.

Today, the EAD case number worked on the website, but that's the only one of the three case numbers we've got that showed up. Hopefully, this means the biometrics letter is on its way!

Ok, so apparently I am hopeless. it's been way more than 30 days since USCIS received my file, I even contacted my Congressman's office, and still nothing. I start feeling tired of this.

We were too busy watching college football yesterday to check the mail. Checked the mail today and found the EAD card. Whoo, Whoo Three weeks to go until the interview, and then this phase of the journey will (knock on wood) be over.

Hi Newleyweds2010. We waited 30 days for the biometrics letter, received nothing and then called USCIS. They put in a service request and were told to call back in 30 days if we still didn't receive anything. A week later we received a letter saying something like 'we previously sent you a notice, your case is on hold . . . blah, blah, blah' and a copy of the invitation to the biometrics appointment on October 18th. 4-5 days AFTER we received the 'we previously sent you a notice" letter, we received the original in the mail.

Hang in there.

Thank you for your message. Is there a way to see if they already sent me a bio appointment letter and I simply didn't receive it? I mean, other than calling the 1-800 number that is perfectly useless (last time I called I asked "did you send me a letter already and I did not receive it?" and the operator answered "if you do not receive it within 30 days we can request it to be sent again"...). I'm just scared that they sent it (or think they did) and set a date that has passed already.
