HOWEVER, I've read of other people who've used the 12/03/09 form and have had their packet returned. I don't think there were any RFEs so far, the packet was simply returned.

I think you are mistaken, 12/03/09 is acceptable as it clearly says in the USCIS website. Its 12/16/2008 the one that they are rejecting as they did for me and many others who filed in July with me.

Whoever filed 12/03/09 should NOT be worried at all, until USCIS explicitly says that they are not accepting it.

and I see your local office is Des Moines too.....eek! That's ours as well! So you waited like over a month to get your biometrics letter?.... So are they just slow?

No, we didn't file until the end of August - our NOA was dated 2 Sept (10 days after the lockbox received our application) and our biometrics letter was dated 8 Sept (16 days after filing)... our appointment's not until October (just over 3 weeks away, 43 days after filing), but we're going to try walking in this week I think.

Don't get too worked up; we got our NOA on the 2nd as well, and just got our biometrics appointment this weekend.

If you haven't done so, register with USCIS and add your MSC#s from your NOAs to your profile, and see when the last time it was touched was. More than likely, it was touched the 8th/9th/10th and your letter is coming soon. :)

Im already register, I send the form with the package, but it hasnt been touch since the same day they send me the email, from Spt 2... Thats making me scare!!!!! :(

Hello!

Today my AOS case was finally available on-line for the first time! Almost a month after the USCIS had received it! (My EAD and AP cases are still unavailable on-line.) When I opened my AOS case in the website, it mentioned that on Sept 10 my case was transferred to the California Service Center, and that I have been sent a biometrics appointment notification. I have not yet received that biometrics appointment notification. Does anyone know if you receive separate biometrics appointment notifications for AOS and for EAD or you just receive one for both?

Good evening everyone!

HI, ok so you get ONE notification letter for your biometrics for everything you file. At least that's how mine was when I read it today. Had both case numbers on it and gave me my date and time and where to go.

But since you're other 2 aren't in the system...I dunno...

So, today I called to the USCIS for information about my case… I know I’m desperate! Asking if something happen that I haven’t received my Biometrics appointment… so they told me I have to wait at least 30 days after receiving the NOA’s by mail, to then filed a claim for not getting the appointment… Aggg… So, anyways… I have to wait…

Also I ask if the work flow was the problem, and she told me that they are working Feb. 7 application… WHAT??????? I ask her if I had to wait for them to finish those cases to get my appointment she said no! Just at least 30 days… in between those days you should get ur appointment… :( Thankfully our local office don’t work our cases… because that will drive me crazy!

I understand the frustration but what you really NEED to do relax a little and look at the timelines of people who have gone through the process before you. You'll see plenty of examples where people have gotten bio letter anywhere from 2 days to 2 months. There are some July filers who still have not gotten their bio letter yet. Looking at your timeline, its only been 4 business days since you got your NOA1, I dont see a reason why you need to worry or even call USCIS. If you spend some time on this forum you'll find out that half the time the Customer Rep. dont even know what they are talking about. They have a script and go by that.

I dont think that IR-1 (Immediate Relatives) cases have a Priority Date as they are always current. Mine is blank.
