The Chicago address is just a lock box. All the AOS paperwork then goes to the National Benefits Center in Missouri.

It's silly to not have us send it to MSC directly the way they do for the K1's 129F.

We got the hard copies of our NOAs today, and all of our documents were touched today.

@anita: we live also live quite some time away from our biometrics location ("only" 2 hours, though), but I have friends & family in the area, so we decided that if the date's more than 2 weeks out, we're going to drop in & worst case scenario, he meets my lesbian aunties and he gets to see the city my mom grew up in. :)

You receive a letter with a I-797C similar to the NOA1 saying your case was transfered to a different service center.

I read that the USCIS website is not very reliable because is often outdated and does not show changes in real time, so maybe they will update it in the next days.

USCIS updated their website and my cases are in the system now

While AOS is still at the acceptance stage, AP and EAD are at the initial review stage.

However, I thought that checking the USCIS website several times a day was finally over once the K1 visa was approved, but I was obviously wrong.
