I was informed by USCIS on the phone that my appointment letter for the biometrics has been sent out on the 27th Aug, and that it is scheduled for Sep 21st. I would try to do a walk-in when I get it. Hopefully it works out.

There is one query though. I have received 3 receipt numbers in the email, and I have applied for Immigration(I-130), Adjustment of Status, Advance Parole and Employment Authorization concurrently. Was I supposed to receive 4 receipt numbers? The cases are not online yet (not accessible on USCIS website). My NOAs were sent out on the 24th August, but I haven't received those as yet either. Does it take more than 7 days for them to arrive in mail?! (I was informed about NOA hardcopies by USCIS customer service center too).

sent my package last week monday with usps certified mail with return receipt, i was tracking it and got this message from usps

Delivered, August 29, 2010, 10:35 pm, ZIP Code 55680

Arrival at Unit, August 27, 2010, 10:11 pm, CHICAGO, IL 60680

Acceptance, August 23, 2010, 11:58 am, TALLAHASSEE, FL 32301

im doing an aos application so the address i sent it to was

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS P.O. Box 805887 Chicago, IL 60680-4120

so if you notice it was delivered to a zip code i didnt even put(55680) and when i tried to find this zip code it doesnt even exist. I called usps they say someone signed for it and they will start to look into it. Does anyone know what this is about?

Timeline update:

Aug 12: Entered US in K1 visa.

Aug 13: Married.

Aug 16: Sent AOS, AP & EAD package by Fedex to the Chicago S. Dearborn St. address.

Aug 17: Fedex confirmed they had delivered the package.

Aug 25: Received emails and sms texts of my AOS, EAD and AP applications.

Aug 26: Check cashed.

Aug 30: Received hardcopies of NOA1's for my AOS, EAD and AP applications.

Just checked status in the uscis.gov website and they have not uploaded my cases yet. I am waiting for my biometrics appointment letter. Does anyone know if you get two separate biometrics appointment letters for AOS and EAD? Or you get one letter for both?

So you have received 3 different receipt numbers too, right? And did you file for i130, i485, EAD and AP too? Because yesterday, while talking to one of the most rude IOs on the phone, I was informed that I am missing a receipt number (For advance Parole). I just wanted to confirm with fellow VJ members if they received 3 or 4 receipt numbers. Thank you!

Hi! How come they told you the date of the biometrics. I have my NOA from 11th of August I called to ask about my biometrics and the answer I got is that they can't start any queries before the 30 days are gone. So I have to wait until the 10th of September. I am so upset.

I had called them to expedite my advance parole, and was forwarded to the tier-2 officer. He informed me that i cannot expedite it until i get my biometrics done. And that's when i was told that the appointment letter has already been sent out on the 27th. You might want to wait a bit more for the information, or you can try calling up again?
