Mine are MSC, too. I can't tell if that's a good thing, a bad thing, or just a thing. Will they route things to the fastest processing times? Or does stuff just go wherever it goes for no reason?

Everyone has an MSC number for AOS, it means nothing.

Cool. I didn't know they all went through the Missourri center. That makes it especially odd that they don't include MSC in their list of "sample" prefixes on the "Check my case" page...

Yep, MSC aka National Benefits Center. Don't ask me why they need two names...

Successful walk-in biometrics at Woodside, NY. I was prepared if they had pushed back for coming in 3 weeks early but it went smoothly. Guard asked if I had an appointment for today and I nodded. He didn't look at the letter and asked to fill the form. Took about 7-10 mins for the whole process.

Thanks. Guard took the letter, asked me to take a seat and then brought the letter along with the form for me to fill out.

No infopass appointment is needed for walk-in biometrics. People who do biometrics (ASC) are not in the same department I think.

My cheques have finally been cashed, and I have my biometrics appointment for the 21st of September. Though I haven't received the appointment letter yet, I had called up USCIS toll-free number, and they informed me about it! I have been asked to wait till I get my biometrics done, for me to expedite the AP. The officer was very helpful! He assured me (almost) that I would not have a problem with expediting the AP unless I receive an RFE till then.
