Had my gc interview this morning, and got approved!!! The IO did not exactly say that we are approved (but she said that everything looks fine), she said they have to do some background checks, it is a procedural thing so there is nothing to worry about..

The inverview went very smoothly. She asked about my job in Turkey and asked a few questions about my husband's job..and she asked some of the questions on the i-485 form. Then she wanted to see our supporting documents (she did not check all of them ), she just took our bank statement, lease aggrement and lease insurance, a photo from our reception and our passports. Then she went to make a copy of them. That was it! It only took 5 minutes, then we were done..

I still can't believe that this thing is over,so no more paperwork for 21 months!!!

Received fancy EAD card and AP papers in the mail today. EAD card came in an envelope that looked like it was from a credit card company, no USCIS label or anything, so don't throw away supposed junk

RFE'd because my husband forgot put the wrong G-325A in the form -- we copied before the signing, and apparently he grabbed the wrong one when we actually mailed. Not a terribly big deal, took us about 5 minutes to go grab the copy, sign & date it, and stick it in the mail with a copy of the RFE. I'm going to go assume that everything else is in order, as they seem to give a laundry list when there's a problem. We express mailed the response, and they'll receive it on Friday (no mail tomorrow), and hopefully his green card will be ordered next week!

Nice! I guess they're moving along then. You're a few days ahead of me in filing with Boston. Did you see any status changes or touches online prior to getting your letter?

My 485/130 hasn't been touched since the day after biometrics and a phone call to the help desk asking if the app had been forwarded to the Boston office yielded nothing.

no update on the USCIS website. In fact was expecting the letter in January.

Received the second email of the EAD "card production ordered" on Tuesday, then got a text message/email today indicated EAD approval, but was surprised to hear that the EAD card was already waiting in the mailbox!

Now, if there were just some way we could get a sense of where we're at on the GC process...

Filed 8-31-10 for AOS/EAD/AP. Received Green Card and Work permit today! No interview, no RFE and didn't even send in a vaccination copy thing, guess the London Embassy sent what they were supposed too!! We're both very happy right now!

My wife got a text on 11/3 saying an RFE was sent on 11/2. We got it in the mail on 11/8, found out she didn't sign/date the G325A. I printed out a new copy, she signed and dated it and I sent it back the same day. Looking back, I should have paid to do Express Mail. It's been 7 days, still no update. Her EAD/AP haven't been updated sine 10/14 and 9/21 respectively. I just hope the GC gets approved soon.

Whew, we got a touch and they are reviewing the RFE we sent back. I'm wondering why they're dragging their feet on the EAD and AP. It seems strange that the AOS is moving along much faster.
