I NEED HELP. MY HUSBAND FILED MY I485 AND MY SONs I130. WE GOT APPROVAL FOR MY I485, AND NOTHING HAVE BEEN SAID ABOUT MY SONs I130. MY SON IS CURRENTLY NOT HERE WITH US. I ONLY RECIVED NOA FOR MY SONs I130 THE LAST 2 MONTHS. WE WERE HOPING THAT AFTER THE :help: APPROVAL FOR MY I485 MY SONs i130 SHOULD FOLO. THX

your son's petitions has nothing to do with yours, they will go through consular processing. the approval time of the i130 depends on the time it takes in the service center that it belongs to. I can take several months to be approved,

yup- no linkage currently, about yer AOS and the son's cr-2 stuff.

There WILL BE LINKAGE, later, at NVC, when the DS-230 goes through. (CR-2 is a derivative visa, usually from a CR-1, but AOS cases on Mom also creates derivate CR-2 status) /

HOWEVER, even with all of that said, you still have a small chance of asking for expedite at USCIS, since the I-485 on you was recently approved.

Let me know if you need assistance with prepping an expedite - but this topic has been covered before, can be found using the search engine here.
