Hi everybody,

I wanna ask about case in uscis an nvc if someone can tell me...

After the case goes in nvc does make sense to check out uscis already?

because we was in uscis in post desigion activity

(which i don't know what that means) since april 2010 and still there on this step but in same time we need to send more dox in nvc and we did it already, so whats going on now?

Waiting for intervew or....,shall i check uscis any more?

Once you get approval......USCIS will forward the case to NVC. So on USCIS website....what ever status they shos doesn't matter (considering you have got NVC case no. at this stage).

So you can call NVC to find out what is going on with you case....and if they require any more documentation.....good luck...

Your case has left USCIS so you shouldn't have any more activity on there until the beneficiary enters the US and then you can check the status of your green card.

You're dealing with NVC now so memorize that NVC number and call it (speak to an operator as often as possible) to get status updates

Yes I have nvc number already and calld them they told me they have all dox they need i suppose and now have to wait for an email from them.

Is the intervew date next step? I mean medical yes but thats after u have intervew date.

Also they told me the proces will be between 4-6 weeks.

How u experience this,how long took to u?

Actually, the next step is a case complete from NVC. Then you wait for your interview date

PS - as you can see in my timeline, it took us 25 days to get through NVC, but that was over a year ago

Normally 1 to 1.5 months for you to get the interview date after NVC completion.

You can check your U.S,Consulate site for immigrant visa appointments or talk to them with your NVC case#, 1 to 2 weeks after NVC case completion.
