Hi All, We are July filers and have gotten our 1 year extension for my wife's I751, it says on there that she can travel with that document. Now she is planning on going to India for 2 months, starting September and returning NOvember. What happens if the BIO appt between that time. Is it ieasy to reschedule or a pain in the rear end? Whats your advise? Thanks in advance.

It is easy to reschedule. The number to reschedule is on the NOA they sent her. The bio letters have been slow in coming lately (average 1.5months) so be prepared to make things right before she leaves.

Rescheduling is easy. But, I recommend if you receive the letter before she leaves to try and do a walk-in appointment and get done with it. Not sure what USCIS will do if the second notice comes in and that is also while she is out of the country?

Although my personal recommendation is not to travel for long periods of time during an application since no one knows how USCIS behaves and what sort of letters they might send to the applicant.
