NOA2 hard copy.

Hi every one,our case has been sent to lagos now and it has been almost a month.We have not recived the NOA2 yet in the mail yet,but we have our case number that was given to us at the NVC.What next do we do about the NOA2, its almost a month,do we still wait or call NVC?

Since you have the Lagos case number given to you by NVC, i don't really think there is a big deal from not getting NOA2 hardcopy. Email Lagos Consulate for the interview day and make sure you include the LOS # given to you by NVC that was given to you by the NVC along with some other identification information of the beneficiary, like date of birtt and name. In few days you will get your interview date along with the required forms. You can still keep calling USCIS for your NOA2 hard copy for record purpose.

Congratulations on your NOA2. But I will still get in contact with USCIS, because when your fiancee comes to the states to Adjust Status, the NOA2 is one of the things that you will have to provide. Hope that was helpful.

yup - need NOA-2 (for a I-129f petition / K-1 visa) when filing the AOS case.

You have any address issues, on you? Did you move? If you put in a forwarding order to USPS, sorry, that NOA-2 will be sent back to USCIS. Check in with USCIS hotline, confirm yer address, confirm whether or not the NOA-2 was sent out yet, confirm the address with them, that they used for mailing.

If you've not moved at all, and USCIS did send it out, and for whatever reason USPS kicked it back to USCIS, you can request that USCIS resend the NOA-2, without any monies paid or additional forms to file to request a duplicate NOA-2.

Conversely, if you HAVE MOVED, and USCIS did send it out to the old address, and for whatever reason USPS kicked it back to USCIS, you can request that USCIS resend the NOA-2, to the NEW ADDRESS, without any monies paid or additional forms to file to request a duplicate NOA-2.

otherwise, if , after calling, USCIS says they never sent it out, then yer stuck in some lag time-frame. That's OK for now, not need the NOA-2 again until you two file the AOS case, after arrival in USA.
