hello everyone

i just want to know if anyone has been approved or denied a k1 visa after submitting the lacking document(evidence of current sustained income)

i had an interview last June, the interview went well, i have answered all the questions but after the interview i was asked to submit current sustained income from my fiance to continue processing my visa, so i did, I went back there three days after. i have submitted my fiance's last three months bank statements, letter of employment and business license from his dad where his working and the lady who took it told me to just wait for my visa to delivered but after two weeks waiting i haven't gotten any letter from them or a visa so we had to call them but the lady who answered said they need evidence of current sustained income from my petitioner when i already submitted it, i don't know what happened but i submitted it anyway but just through courier and just last day, we received email from them saying they already received it and will process it as soon as possible.

please share some thoughts especially who had experienced like this. I just want to be with my fiance. Thank you in advance, God Bless

OMG! We have a similar story! blush.gif I was given a 221g form after the interview and I must say, it went smoothly so i was shocked to get a blue form. Anyhoo, I was asked for pay stubs so I personally submitted 4 pay checks a few days after the interview. My fiancé is also employed by his father. Did you call the 301-2000 number? Call to check the status of your case. I learned of my approval by calling and the visa issuance via email though the only reason I received an email was because I wrote to the Embassy.

Look at this link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/257355-evidence-of-current-sustained-income/

Call them a week after you submit it. Did you talk to someone directly from the Non-Immigrant Visa section? 3012000 press 7 then 5184 or 5185 followed by #. I assume that yours is taking longer because you didn't personally hand in the documents. Give it about 10 business days. Good luck! Update me on what ensues from there. good.gifThanks! I'm so relieved that I got it. star_smile.gif

zah...It is not clear from your post whether you submitted current paycheck stubs as proof of your fiancé's current sustained income. Did you submit current paycheck stubs? That seems to be what Embassy is asking for in your case.

Good luck! :star:
