Hello!

I will file I-751 next week. My current green card is on my maiden name. I would like to use my married

name when i renew the card. Would that be a problem when I sent them a copy of my old green card?

Nope but I would check with your local state laws to make sure that you can still use your married name after you have been married for a while. Some states require you to do a legal name change. When you file your I-751, make sure to put your maiden name under other names used section.

NOA1, similar it seems to others. My first name was also an initial so i wouldnt read to much into it, standard practice i imagine.

Reading the notice, it looks like it wont be online till they issue a date for the ASC appointment.

Please add me to the August filers' list. I've just mailed the packet for my wife from Switzerland where we're temporarily located with permanent address in NJ. I hope it will reach there by Friday. I couldn't get return receipt from DHL but I was told I'll be able to see the name of person in trace and tracking on DHL's website. My wife's green care expires on August 26th but we had to wait due to several variables however I'm glad it's finally out and now hope the process will go smooth. Packet is sent to Vermont service center.
