November 8th....NOA2

December 8th.....Packet 3 Received (Sent back 10th)

January 8th.....Packet 4 Received

January 16th.....Interview in London

January 20th....Flight to AZ via JFK, received temp EAD

February 29th...Civil Ceremony

March 10th...I485, I765 & I131 sent to Chicago

March 22nd....Received NOA for I485, I131 & I765 (All dated March 18th)

March 24th....Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated March 20th)

April 7th...Request for Initial Evidence for I485 (Received in MO on the 10th)

April 9th....Biometrics Appointment

May 30th...EAD Card Production Ordered and AP Approved

June 7th....Wedding!!

June 13th...EAD Card & AP in hand

September 22nd...AOS Interview - APPROVED!

Nov 21st...Card Production Ordered!

Am i wrong in my observation that those who have been approved first had interviews in earlier parts of their visa/greencard process. I think it has been talked about before, is that the reason some get approved faster than others or is it entirely random!

We did not have any interviews during this journey. I am wondering if it's got to do with the local USCIS office. It would be interested to know how many of those who got approved has a spouse in the Military service.

03/21/06- Met online

10/13/06- Met in person (Los Angeles USA) (three weeks)

12/20/06- Met in person (Kuala Lumpur Malaysia) (three weeks)

02/13/07- Met in person (Nagoya Japan) (two days)

06/21/07- Met in person (Portland Oregon (via PDX), USA) (three weeks)

11/30/07- Met in person (Portland Oregon (via LAX), USA) (six weeks)

12/12/07- Got married (In a Light House!!!)

01/18/08- I-130 sent

01/21/08- I-130 received at Chicago Lock Box

02/15/08- Check cashed

02/26/08- NOA1 received (Notice date: 2/12/2008)

02/19/08- Touched

04/23/08- Met in person (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) (one week)

04/30/08- Here I am in USA!!!!

Wife had an interview for AOS but we have know idea if that allowed her to complete her ROC quicker. We just assumed she got lucky this time.:blink:

Completed Biometric and tried to do it before and got misleading advice at Service Center that they can't do it before but can certainly accommodate after the due date....huh? Would that be abandonment of case. Anyways one more milestone over.

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

07-31-2010: I-751 off to VSC (Day 1)

08-04-2010: Date Of NOA1 (Recd 08/11/2010)(Day 4)

08-10-2010: Check Cashed (Day 10)

11-10-2010: Biometrics Appointment

27-12-2010: 10 Year Card Received

I'm going to make a prediction that my husband and I will get our approval either the last week of November or first week of December (just based on seeing a pattern for some folks of two months between biometric appointment and approval notification).

Fingers crossed! We shall see!

02/29/2008 - Wedding Day!

03/29/2008 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago registered mail

04/04/2008 - Delivered to Chicago Lockbox

04-10-2008 - Check cashed!

04-12-2008 - NOA1s arrive for AP & AOS

04-18-2008 - Biometrics appt letter arrives

04-29-2008 - Biometrics appointment!

04-30-2008 - AOS status shows up online

05-16-2008 - AP status shows up online - both AP & AOS are touched!

06-05-2008 - AP touched and email sent saying AP has been approved

06-12-2008 - AP arrives in the mail

07-10-2008 - Interview letter arrives - interview scheduled for 09/05/08
