May....CSC: 20%, VSC: 64%

June...CSC: 25%, VSC: 52%

July....CSC: 48%(!!), VSC: 18%

Just a thought...

Yeah, I thought the same and I wanted to know if that's true. I just picked March as a month where most of the people should have a decision by now.

The latest March filer status for CSC showed 24 applicants of which 23 reported to be approved. Here's an overview of when they got their approval:

April: 4

May: 8

June: 6

July: 4

August: 1

That shows that a quite a few people got their approval in the month following their application. Wow! So, DDKM is right. Following this pattern there could already be some decisions for early August filers. Check your mailboxes! :-)

But then there were the following months with very low approvals and if the drop-out rate that didn't care to report it was as low as in March CSC might just have slowed down a lot. We'll see...

08/25/2006 US entry on J-1, stating INA212(e) does NOT apply

06/10/2008 (0) filed for Adjustment of Status: I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765 through attorney

11/12/2008 (155) Interview at local USCIS office, recommended for approval by AO, I-485 and I-130 touched - GC production ordered

11/22/2008 (165) GREEN CARD ARRIVED!

08/17/2010 (-) mailed package I-751 for Removal of Condition to CSC

08/23/2010 (0) package received by CSC, I-797C, NOA-1 (mailed on 08/25)

Biometrics depend on how backed up your local office is. I am not sure how long you have to wait before putting a service request. Hopefully, someone can chime in.

quick question:

can I bring my baby to the biometrics appointment?

my wife has school...so does her sister...my sister's husband has an interview and they will have to leave their baby at my inlaws house. my mother in law will be coming in from the night shift and will prolly be getting her hands full taking care of my nephew...my uncle and father in law will be at work...i do have grandparents but will be too old to take care of my baby...day care is out of the question because I dont want to leave him with somebody who i dont know and trust...

has somebody ever done this? i mean go to a bio appointment with a little kid in tow and go in and out unscathed??? :P

quick question:

can I bring my baby to the biometrics appointment?

my wife has school...so does her sister...my sister's husband has an interview and they will have to leave their baby at my inlaws house. my mother in law will be coming in from the night shift and will prolly be getting her hands full taking care of my nephew...my uncle and father in law will be at work...i do have grandparents but will be too old to take care of my baby...day care is out of the question because I dont want to leave him with somebody who i dont know and trust...

has somebody ever done this? i mean go to a bio appointment with a little kid in tow and go in and out unscathed??? :P

I was able to bring my 2 yr old daughter with me at our biometric appointment in Stafford Tx. You can try to go for an early biometric walk in if your ASC office is close to you. People have been successful with trying to go to the ASC office early in the morning or on a day when ASC is not busy. We did an early biometric walk in and in another state. The staff at our ASC did not ask any questions and we were in and out in 10 mins.

Hi everybody! it been a month now since i got my NOA and i have been waiting for the biometric letter but nothing comes yet, my head is spinning especially when some PR filed after me and got their letters but me not! would anyone knows what i should do? i am really beginning to worry :angry:.

There is a number on your NOA1 to contact USCIS if you have not received a biometric appointment letter within 30 days. When you speak with the customer rep, ask to speak with an IO (immigration officer). They can give you more detailed information about your file. Have you moved after your aos? Our bio appointment letter was sent to an old address, eventhough we submitted a change of address with USCIS. Delays can happen, since appoints are sent out based on how backed up your ASC office is.
