Hello everyone,

Well Finally some movement, I just received my Biometric letter today, notice date 09/14/2010 and scheduled for 10/12/2010. so a little less than 2 weeks from now. I was kind of thinking maybe to do early bio since I may have an exam on that day. Anyone tried an early walk-in bio in New York City, more precisely in the Woodside Application Support Center????.

Until today we still have not received bio letter...nothing...even after I filed Service Request more than a week ago.

Yes, it makes sense. But why did it tell you not to drop the app? Wouldn't they consider the app processed now that you received your green card with the updated (now correct date)? I would talk to someone else and ask them if you need to file a new app (at their costs)to remove the conditions by january 2011. It is possible that I am confused too.

I was told not to drop the app as it still showed in process, and the fact that she got a new gc with the correct original date may be unrelated to the 751, but it may be related to the I-90 app that was rejected and the infopass we did back in June for the gc date issue. Once he knew of the previous I-90 and infopass, he said NOT to file a new 751 unless/until they reject the current one. May be just a case of crossed issues.

If 30 days pass since our NOA's date, you probably can call them and place a service request. At least they will get back to you and inform you why you are still waiting.

Updating my info -- can't remember when we got the NOA, but we went in for the biometrics in Oakland yesterday. The woman who took the fingerprints told my husband that he'd be getting his new green card "in a couple of weeks" -- WHAT??? Really?

We shall see!

She also told my husband (who had bashed his nose as he was retrieving a pot from an upper cupboard the night before) that his cut was "adorable."

I hope so -- he's going to have that photo on his green card for the next ten years! At least he didn't get a black eye....

Are we still talking about USCIS biometrics officers?????? Probably I should relocate a little more north and get my stuff done in Oakland

My experiences have been very weird with biometrics officers......

One time the guy was sharing with me how his "girl" is seeing some other guy and he's thinking about killing him.... huuuuuuh ?????????

Another time I though I got enlisted in the Army - the lady was too aggressive... I counted my fingers when I left the facility to make sure all 10 still were attached....
