Hey never give up. I know that sucks. Check mi signature, I was waiting 83 days for that Bio letter  . I know how you feel but eventually you are going to get the Bio letter. You can place a service resquest for you Biometrics calling to Customer Service since your NOA receipt is more than 30 days. Try to stay positive and hopeful and of course never give up. It is easier to say than to do but not other way around to deal with all this.

Good luck :)

Thank you all for cheering me along. This is the second time this has happened. It happened in the AOS as well and I had to physically go to the DO and get a printed bio letter from the officer. That is the reason I am anxious. Twice!

Ok..well..well..well...here's a good one.... No Bio letter, no nothing, then a Perm Res card just arrives in the mail yesterday. The only problem, is that it is dated to expire 1/14/11 :bonk: It seems as if the merely moved her back to what should have been her original expiratin date (it is her mother's date). So now it looks as if I have to file hers yet again along when I file for her mother, except I have already paid. Me thinks a phone call/infopass appt. is in order!

Well here is where my little dilemma is sitting at right now...we now have a correct green card with the correct expiration date (matches mommy). Her I-751 is still showing "In Process". At this point we can either wait to see if it continues and she gets processed using her old gc date, or it gets rejected using her new gc date (since then I would have filed too early). If we get a reject, is our $$ returned? The agent did suggest that I could send in a letter to VT requesting status of app since we now have 2 gc's, and what to do next. He did stress to NOT drop the app myself as then the $$ will be forfeited. I am of the mind to just sit back and wait another week or two to see what gives since VT seems to be at a snails pace anyway. I know I am in a bit of a time limitation as mommies 751 gets prepped and filed at the end of Oct. Anyone else ever experience or hear of something so goofy? What is scary is that even the USCIS agents said..and I quote... "now that is odd". :bonk:

I would request an infopass and talk to an immigration officer. This is definitely a weird case but an IO should be able to give you some clear guidance.

Unfortunately, if they made an error I highly doubt that they will give you back your fee but it doesn't hurt to ask. :( Sorry that I can't be of more help.

Thannks for the reply! I did consider an Infopass, but since I was transferred to an upper level agent after i explained everything to the initial agent I assumed that would have been the same as an Infopass agents response. Make sense?

Yes, it makes sense. But why did it tell you not to drop the app? Wouldn't they consider the app processed now that you received your green card with the updated (now correct date)? I would talk to someone else and ask them if you need to file a new app (at their costs)to remove the conditions by january 2011. It is possible that I am confused too. :P
