Have NVC Number, How to get to DS-230/AOS quickly?

Hi everyone-

First thanks to all that are regularly posting to this site; its a real treasure. I hope to do the same to answer others once I am a bit experienced.

I just got my NVC Case number...NVC received the case July 30, 2010; I called and added my wife's e-mail address. They already had mine

1. I can wait for the DS-3032 and AOS Bill generation to come to our respective e-mail boxes.

2. I can send off a paper DS-3032 that I have ready (after doing the barcode generation).

3. I can have my wife mail off the e-mail DS-3032 to NVC.

What say you all?

-Successful Citizenship interview, Dec 11, 2013

-fingerprint appointment, Oct 24, 2013

-conditions removed, April 11, 2013 (YAY!)
-biometrics appointment Oct 16, 2012
-I-750 NOA1 received Sep 23, 2012
-USCIS received I-750 removal of conditions in Sep 19, 2012

-received 2 year green card, late December 2010
-port of entry, December 6, 2010

You can't get the DS-230 and AOS stuff done until the DS-3032 is sent in and accepted. So do that first, have the beneficiary send that off via e-mail or hard copy and then you can move forward.

I get what you say. My question is...should I wait for NVC is send via e-mail the DS-3032, OR should I just send it? I can do that one of two ways, snail-mail it (have one signed by my wife) OR have my wife send it via e-mail (using the template that's on this site)..

Normally it wouldn't matter, but I am reading that there is some slowdown (unconfirmed) at NVC.

Congrats on getting through NVC is 25 days!

DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill stream are two seperate processes

Usually, the ONLY WAY the AOS and IV fee bills show up together is IF you had attorney representation, a G-28 filed with the I-130.

re: yer DS-3032 'choices'. Suggest you pick the email version, only. Not use other methods.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Just email the NVC. Put your case number in the subject line and DS-3032. You don't even need a pdf of the form. I simply said that I would be an the agent (I'm the petitioner) for our case.

As always be sure to include your case number, full name of petitioner AND beneficiary, and BOTH of your birth dates.

By sending this email to them, they'll have you email address. Remind them this is the email you want to use for further contact with the NVC, and also provide your spouse's email for them to have, as well.

-- Two months wasted waiting for case number which was already assigned without notifying us. >=( --

4-05-10: NVC initiates processing

6-01-10: Paid AOS fee / Completed DS-3032

6-04-10: Paid IV fee

6-10-10: Mailed AOS

6-14-10: NVC receives AOS

7-06-10: Mailed DS-230

7-15-10: NVC receives DS-230

7-23-10: Medical exam appointment

8-04-10: SIF & Case Closed

8-13-10: Interview letter received

9-09-10: Visa interview in London at 8:30 am ***APPROVED!***
