Selt-petitioning as a Victim

My two daughters and I entered the US EWI. I came to the US because I was a victim of bigamy and domestic violence by my Mexican now ex- "husband". I have been in the US for 9 years.

After my older daughter was repeatedly raped by her own alcoholic grand-father I had to bring her to the US for protection and therapy.

My younger daughter is suffering from a mental disability due to a birth-complication. I had to bring her to the US for treatment and special education.

Isn't there a way to apply for a Grean Card for me and my daughters based on our grievences?

Thanks, - Vero

You asked these same questions here before. You're going to get the same answers.

There are two primary basis for adjusting status after an EWI entry - asylum/refugee, or VAWA. There is zero chance of successfully getting asylum or refugee status as a Mexican national. You were never abused within the United States by a US citizen or LPR spouse, so you aren't eligible for VAWA. Even if you married a US citizen today, you would not be eligible to adjust status because of the EWI.

You have no basis on which to apply for a green card. Sorry.

Please remove this person from the forums. They have already suggest filing false police reports against a US citizen for the purpose of obtaining a green card. Really tired of telling this person they need to leave the US.

Shame this poster cannot be reported to the police if they have already reported they are willing to make false allegations and ruin an innocent persons life. Let the police do an IP trace and go from there.

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to General Immigration Related Discussion as this isn't a question about the AOS process specifically, more a general Immigration question**

IMO, you are not any 'crime' victim, as you not have any police reports.

Sorry.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Poster has indeed asked these same questions before on this website and has been given the correct information. VJ does not condone or allow posts that condone illegal immigration activities, accordingly, this thread is now closed.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
