Just thought I would do a quick update on how things are since Edi came here on the K1 in 2006. :)All is very well, he joined the Army and is leaving for basic training in 2 weeks. :( Never thought we would be apart after the immigration hell. Marriage still going strong, and still to this day will admit I would not have made it through the immigration process without VJ and the friends I made on here. :)

psst...had no clue where else to post this, i've been away from VJ for quite a while, at least posting a lot, and things look so different. :)

Hi there!!!

Glad to hear all is well. He will be through basic before you know it, but I thought he was joining the Coast Guard...? I am so behind everything as I don't log on here much at all. Also last i read you were having an awful time medically....Hope that's all sorted out too!

Yes he was going to go into the Coast Guard, but they had issues with his Romanian diploma. The army did for a while as well but got everything fixed. He would have joined over a year ago but the army recruiter we had then told him he needed his GED. So he spent 8 months studying for that only to find out when he passed it he never needed it. lol

Medically I am still not ok.

The final diagnosis is through cat scans and an MRI, we found that during my hysterectomy they left a surgical clamp in my pelvis which has been moving around and also pinned up against my nerves, causing the severe pain in my legs. We also found that they left my right ovary. The operative report states they took out both ovaries and tubes and uterus. Well this ovary they failed to take out and did not tell me, is covered with cysts and endometriosis (sp), causing the abdominal pain. I finally found an amazing doctor who is going to remove both. I also have an awesome lawyer for after my surgery. :)
