Wedding Registry

I'm trying to think ahead and I'm wondering if anyone has found an easy answer for when they get married in the US but still have family in Canada. I think it would be easier if my family could purchase items online for my wedding registry/wedding shower gift while they are still in Canada and ship it to my address in the US. Has anyone come across a website/store that ships to the US and will tolerate a different billing address which would be in Canada? Please let me know :)If not, any other solutions are welcome.

You can register with Amazon.com. They'll accept Canadian billing address.

Sears.ca and Sears.com will ship or have pick up at store from what I read on their site.

This isn't a direct answer but ...what I am doing is registering at The Bay. They will indicate on teh registry that no shipments to store will be accepted after Dec 15th 2010 (guesstimate of approx 1 month prior to wedding and 2 weeks prior to crossing) after this date the guests will have to bring the gifts with them. Not convenient but its the best I could figure out. The other thing that was noted on the registry is the "gift cards are not valid in usa" this would also apply if you registered at Sears...you can not use a sears.ca giftcard at a sears in the usa ....different currencies , same goes for Best Buy etc.

Bed Bath & Beyond, while their website doesn't accept credit cards with billing addresses outside the US, they do accept such orders by e-mail, fax, or phone.

A friend got me a gift card from Bed Bath and beyond before I left canada, I was able to use the card in the US. Just remember that, for example, a $50 canadian card will be a little less than $50 in the US!
