Yep, personal check is the way to go..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

We used personal cheques. I think it is the way to go as you can quickly see if the ceques have been cashed by using your online banking.

Best way to go Personal checks, they serve as another way to document your case , also has your name address on it so USCIS can't muck up and put payment with wrong file

Also if filing more than one form I suggest 1 check for each form filed!
