My husband's sister wants to come visit us from Morocco. She would need a tourist visa, right? I think it is a B-2 visa. Can anyone tell me what she needs to do in order to come over here for a little while? I know she needs passport and medical exam, but what else is involved so I can tell her how to proceed in getting her visa. Thanks, I appreciate any input on this

She dosent need a medical exam for a tourist visa...

She will, however (and this will be the IO's BIGGEST concern) need to prove that she will return to Morocco.

There's plenty of info out there on how to do that, but it's a hard thing to prove, and you would probably be better off looking for info from other people who have applied for a tourist visa in morocco.

You could also write her a letter of invitation, but from everything Ive seen, and our own experience, that is next to useless. Still, better to have than not to have, right?

Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.

She applies for a B2 at the local consulate. The information on how she goes about it will be on their web site.
