RFE Email Received. No Letter Yet.

Hi

Am posting for a relative of mine and hope some experienced members would guide me. A relative of mine filed for Naturalization based on 5 years residence and got his NOA. About a week ago he received an email update stating that further evidence is requested and a letter has been posted with the details. The email also stated that the case has been suspended until the requested evidence is submitted or the time to respond is over. Now He has been waiting for the RFE letter which should have been here by now. Instead, he received a Biometrics appointment letter dated the same day of the email update. Could it be an error on part of the USCIS and the online touch/email is infact the bio letter. ANybody has any info.

That's correct. An RFE during naturalization is a biometrics letter. Everyone gets the same status update with the same results...

Normally, if they need anything (RFE), they will ask you to bring that on your interview day.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony
