I just send my petition for my parents, I-130 and now waiting for the next step. I'm little bit confused about the DS-3032 and DS230. Who will fill up these documents, is it me and each of my parents? And send it to NVC? My parents are in other country right now.

technically, the foreign citizen is supposed to fill out, and sign, the DS-230 and DS-3032.

Each parent makes a set, yup. The DS-3032 is THEIR CHOICE OF AGENT, I am assuming they will appoint YOU as their AGENT OF CHOICE. The DS-230 is the VISA APPLICATION - it is THEIR APPLICATION for THEIR VISAS.

Sometimes, foreign people will 'prep all' prior to NOA-2 approval date on the I-130, this allows the AGENT designated in the DS-3032 to rush things through with NVC.

So the foreign parents will have already 'prepped all' and sent it to you, prior to NOA-2 date. Then, at the appropriate times, you would be sending in the COMPLETED DS-3032 and COMPLETED DS-230, on their behalf.

FWIW, no, it's NEVER YOU - these are THEIR DOCUMENTS - but you can assist in filling them out - only -

they must sign them. If they get them to you prior to NVC processing , then YOU can send them in, as well, on their behalf.

Good Luck !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Okay, so the petitioner (ME) don't need to fill up these documents it's only for my parents to fill up these forms, DS-3032 and DS-230 and the petitioner (ME) will be the one to send all these documents along with supporting documents to NVC...Is this right? Will NVC mail these documents to my parents or to me, the petitioner?

Sure - they will send them to them, via postal mail, if you 'do nothing at NVC' .

HOWEVER - many people are pro-active here - and instead of waiting on 'postal mail' -

they DOWNLOAD the forms off the internet, use a computer, fill things out, print with a printer.

Maybe time to review?

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

and then a mini-how-to if you are utilizing on the online payment portal - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

and if you'd like to 'do something else' for the DS-3032, is possible to email the ASCII TEXT email template version of the DS-3032, instead of doing anything postal - see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

Darnell....Hey thanks for the info's. So, my part now is to get and organize all the documents, DS3032, DS230, I-864...etc and the petitioner which is me, will send all these documents to NVC in behalf of my parents. In that case my parents will not send any documents to NVC and just wait for the interview and medical exam in my country. Lastly, when can I send these documents to NVC? The I-130 needs to be approved first, but what type of letters or documents I will be receiving from NVC after the I-130 has been approved. Kindly share the steps after I-130 has been approved....thanks. Any suggestions from anyone will greatly appreciated...
