My priority date is 21st october 2001. After interview I with all family members were put under Mandatory Administrative Processing though we were told at the time of interview that your visa's are approved and you will get your passport's with visa within three weeks time. than retrogression happened .Our passports are still with the embassy, waiting for priority date to be current.

same here...I also appered in interview with family members on 08 Dec, 2010 but due to retrogression it was stopped...my PD is 22 Jan, 2002..I want to ask a question that after visa interview age of my elder bro exceeds 21 years(currently his age is 25 and appeared in interview due to CSPA)...Is it ther any problem regarding visa issuance due to age factor after interview

ote] You brother will face no problem due to age because his age was locked at the time when his priority date bacame current first in Dec,1st,2010. and at that time he had submitted his DS-230.

Yes, when your PD was reached first time, your brother immigrant age was "freezed" at that moment. Please never worry about this. You will get Visa when your PD become available again. Good luck

My mom filed for her married daughter (my sister) PD 10/2006....after my sister divorced last year she became a F1 and after almost 5 yrs of waiting, we finally submitted all the docs and waiting for case comeplete.

Much longer for married child vs. single child. your visa avail can be 5-7 yrs.

Case #1: CR1 & CR2-Hubby & Kids
6/6/11...Priority Date
7/2011...NOA2 ~44 days
8/5/2011...NVC & IIN # Received
9/12/11... CR1 & Cr2 cases completed. ~37 days
11/4/11... CR1 & CR2 Interview APPROVED!!!
11/2011... POE

Your PD may become current in no less than 3 years (2015). If any kids, when your PD is current, is over 21 read up on CSPA and take the necessary actions.

Now I don't know what is happening with that bill/change is legislation but I do know is that the increase from 7% to 15% will not help you. It helps persons from the Philippines & Mexico. What will happen is the relevant authorities will increase the visa limit per country (Philippines, Mexico) by taking visas from the rest of us (worldwide, China, India). So for F3 instead of you waiting 3 more years , you may end up waiting 5 and instead of a Mexican waiting 22 years they wait 20.
