Good day!1..my fiance is also an American Indian(both of his parents), but he is proud to say that he is American and never let his ethnicity hinder his goals in life...you,ranting here, wouldn't help you at all...most of the people here were being good to you, trying to give encouragements, but somehow you've been acting a lil rude(sorry to say that)..there might be other reasons why your petition was denied...as for us,we will be having my interview this coming August..me & my fiance are really praying that by God's will, we will get an approval(somehow, I would like to know if your assumption is right.. :) )I guess, it's not whether who you or what you have..It's about faith, being humble and respectful to what is there,...things happen for a reason..if it is for you, if will be for you no matter what will happen...just hang on, your attorney might find solutions to help you&your fiancee on your petition...God bless!!... :) ..have a good day ahead!!.. :D

I talk to her many hours today, we will not give up, I do not say I am above or less than anyone and my citizenship is rooted in this country since it was founded. Yes, I am angry and sad because there are things I do not understand, I know it is more than income and mine is over 100k per year. I overcame hardships growing up and made choices along the way that put me in a position where I think I can decide to exercise my rights as a citizen of USA regardless of what Country she is from and marry her. We talked a long time today and I think I will go to Chongqing in a few weeks again, and file K1 Visa Again and see why USA will refuse us Again!

Do you even know what the reason for denial was? Sounds like you don't...

Exercise your rights, sure... Now show me where immigration is a RIGHT, you can't because it's a privilege.

You were granted the privilege to sponsor your fiancée for immigrant entry into the US when your petition (I-129f) was approved.

She was denied the privilege of immigrant entry into the US because there was something wrong with HER Visa application.

If you want useful assistance from this forum post the contents of the white slip, I'm sure there are several members here who have received the same thing and overcame it.

people of the world, attention!!!!!!! the world is so freaking full of wars.. lets not add to it.. ... Mr. American Indian, I advised u not to go to this page if your only intention is to air out your sentiments, find a real friend,, someone who can comfort you.. i understand your frustration.. but dont let your emotions fill in the road.. focus focus.. before you start getting mad, look into the whole stuff... be objective, rationalize, intellectualize and so on.. if you need legal advice, seek for it. if you need someone to comfort too. look for someone who you trust. if you want too air out your sentiments, talk to a friend... but never offend someone here.. thanks.. dont take my advice as negative. I am trying to understand you..

I think people should cut him some slack. I can only imagine the stress and anger of having your SO given a white slip. I don't understand how they can "reject" someone without giving more details. Do you know if the VO was a US citizen or a Chinese National? I know many people who were having problems getting approvals when it was the Chinese nationals conducting the interviews. I thought this was improving in Guangzhou but it seems it is the same old story still.

Definately see what the attorney has to say. Hopefully the white slip will just need a little more information. And don't hesitate to get your Senator and Congressman involved. They can't do a whole lot, but they can help and it's what we pay them for.

good luck.

Sorry, there are right and wrong ways to deal with frustration in stressful situations. Ranting on a board about discrimination, insulting an entire country, and lashing out at people who are doing nothing but trying to help and understand the situation? That is the wrong way.

I disagree. It would have been very easy for people to look past the anger/frustration/rant in the first posts and not try to excarbate the situation. Some people did that, but others took immediate offense and started ranting back. If you can't come to a forum where people are going through the same thing and blow off some steam then what's the point. If someone is offended and doesn't want to help then fine, don't help. Nothing is accomplished by starting a verbal battle on a forum.

Regardless of my post, the emotions are high like many others before me and I know I am not the only one faced with this situation regardless of race. My point is #######! Where did we go wrong, I cant figure it out. The letter received said we did not prove Bona fide relationship, but they never look at any of our proof. Zheng has simple life so nothing in her background and nothing in by background. The letter said the case will be sent back to CIS where I can contact them and file appeal. Is it easier for me just to go back to Chongqing again this month get more proof and file K1 Visa again in September?

Sorry for offending anyone but everyone in this world is offended some way or another, please dont miss my point.

y2catalyst -- Think about how long you spent on waiting and processing this stuff. The one poster is right -- immigration is not a right and another is right when you say you can overcome. Waiting a little longer will be worth it if you can focus. Don't waste energy on the blame game of events occuring at the interview or events in centeruies past. You need resolution on what the denial was for:

a. Chinese National doing interview? We are required to hire so many nationals when we have an embassy in foreign countries? I know normally on military bases over seas there is that requirement. If so, Chineese sentiments towards the US are not always good--could be the issue (which is reportable and fixable).

b. Maybe something was discovered in her background (previous marriage not dissolved--criminal record) could be something (lets pray not). If, god forbid there was, then the process saved you time, money, and future potential problems if this is the case.

c. Don't assume anything--there is a way to find out and report any abuses of the system by the interviewing official.

Best wishes and refocus your energy to taking positive steps towards getting the woman you love here with you--don't waste too much energy on unknowns.

I know your pain and frustration very well. My wife also received a white slip last June. We decided not to appeal. We have been married for two and a half years now. Now we have started over again. This time even more documentation with the I-130 package I sent. I'm not a rich man but I am above the poverty guidelines.I will not rant and rave about the system I know it is f---ed up. We have decided if she doesn't get the visa this time I will just move to China and live. It is very sad that those of us who try to bring our spouses here legally are having such difficulties while our politicians are so worried about the rights of the illegal immigrant's. God bless everyone here.

Sorry, just because someone's angry and frustrated doesn't give them the right to be offensive and insulting, and then ask for help from the same people he just insulted. You can ignore it if you choose, but other people don't have to.

It is only offensive if you take it as being directed at you. Since I don't work for the government in any capacity and especially not in any department related to immigrations and since I have not done anything against any Native Americans or any other minority group there is nothing for me to be offended about.

No red flags that I am aware. The only thing I can think is my Divoce was filed in 2007 and the divorce was final July 2010. I put that in my letter with copies of 2007 copy of filed divoce. I met Zheng April 2009 and visited her October 2009, So I can go back this month and file again in September.
