Hi there:

Have my g/c (since March 2010) and valid canuck passport - am planning a quick trip to GWNorth for about a week -- Now I realize that since I have passport in previous name will be carrying Marriage docs with me for reentry etc.

Is this enough?

I never did apply for advance parole and don't have a 551 stamp in my passport -- do I have ''enough'' to travel with or do I need that 551 stamp in passport first?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

if 'g/c' = 'greencard' - then yer golden - with that marriage certificate.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

You're good - if travelling by land - present the Cdn passport on the way into Canada and then the GC on the way back into the US. Occasionally the US border guards will also ask for your passport...but I have found they do not.

If flying you'll need the passport both ways and the GC as well for returning .
