Still no NOA1

I sent my I-130 (IR1) petition last July 9 2010. It was delivered July 11 according to the USPS Express Mail tracking.

I still haven't received my NOA1. Has anyone experienced the same?

No. Call the USCIS immediately. Don't wait, because you will have to wait a long from NOA1 to NOA2

Yes I did file with E-notification form and sent it to the Chicago lockbox.

Did you receive any email or text containing your case no. ? If so, than that email or text must have a RECEIPT NO.

If you haven't received anything than you should wait a bit more ... I am sure you will get it in hand soon. I also got my NOA-1 late.

By the way did your cheque got cashed ? if it was money order..cheak with your bank...whether it was cashed or not ?

Wow thank god, At least it isnt just me. I've been waiting since July 13 (when they received it). Have you heard anything? Hopefully everything will work out this week. For us. It's stressful thinking you made a mistake or something

My packet was returned to me today. There was an error on the Part C Address. They didn't like the [+] sign that Adobe PDFs prints when you have a text field overflow. I corrected it by removing the address then printing it as PDF again then just using the typewriter tool to type the address completely. I'm going to print this shortly and re-send it to USCIS. sigh.

Oh MAN! BOTH OF US! Wow! It sucks i know I feel so crappy. But best of luck to you.. IM going through it with a fine tooth comb. How did you find out what they didnt like? I've yet to find out the reason other than Part C Address. The Service Rep had no clue.

What do you mean by + sign being a problem. Check out the I-130 Example sheet. It has a plus sign listed on the last page when listing the telephone number. That was your problem?

When you type address or anything that doesn't fit in the space provided in the PDF....but it will keep on going....and when you click outside the space provided.....it will give you a '+' sign at the end ..... but at the same time....it won't show the full address.....it will only show what ever was typed inside the box and given space...

So don't just let it go like that......you have to handwrite in this case.....or use type writer.....but I WOULD PREFER HANDWRITE...

so I just left it blank, printed the fillable form as PDF again, then used typewriter tool to type the address manually so no more plus sign.

also, if I can remember correctly, their other PDFs or old I-130 form, when you type a very long text, it automatically adjusts the size to fit on the text field. but that is not that case on this new I-130 form.

I have also noticed it. But I wrote the remaining text using black ink. That way it completed entirely, but the + sign was still there. It was because part of it was filled online and the rest by hand.
