Yeah me too i got e mail after 3 days of AVR stating info missing/incomplete. BUT call tuesday and operator will be able to tell you , what info is missing/incomplete.

Just like jesal, juju'swife, you I also got RFE... so now our cases at NVC are into more delaying situation, we are out of normal... and its gonna delay the interview by one to two months.

Oh my god....an RFE will dely by 1-2 months?? i am never going to forgive myself for this. i can't believe it.

I personally have hope and dont think it will be delayed that long. They seem to be working much faster at NVC.

Im annoyed with my RFE as well, but i try to just remember its better being here than at the beginning. We almost there!

I know we're almost there! :) I just tend to panic. So, weirdly, I got an email this evening. I wonder if they have people working 24/7 even though phone lines and whatnot are only monday through friday? Anyway, they emailed me an RFE checklist, but here's what it said :

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case.

So i'm entirely confused now. I sent the 230, it arrived there on the 27th. And, the AVR even said the last time i checked it that the "biographic data" was entered on the 31st. so...hm. What do you all make of it?

I did a quick search and it might just be a false RFE. I searched for "RFE corresponding civil documents" and others had the same issue as you did.

I would call and talk with an operator and ask what the checklist is exactly for.

I've gotten this exact same message...twice, exactly a week apart. The AVR says "missing or incomplete information", I called and spoke to a person who told me everything was OK and being reviewed as normal.

Ugh. I'll call and speak to them tomorrow, but you all are making me feel much better, and less panicked. Thanks!

Lucky. :(

hey Jesal what do you think how long NVC will take to actually look at our RFE.?

Our wedding anniversry is on dec 5th. 2nd one. it will be 2 years on dec 5th. i am hoping she gets visa in november and will travel to US after dec 5th. e.g. dec 7th. after doing some search i found out at POE they will change the CR1 to IR1 , and she will get 10 years GC... no headache for removal of conditions. well lets see how things go. so far for me things have been extremely delayed with this process.

Im thinking/hoping 3-4 weeks.

After NVC received their checklist, it took 3 weeks to get a case complete. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/273461-case-complete/

So it really depends when you get a case complete and then when your consulate issues interview dates. For example i hear if my case gets complete before the 24th then i have a good chance of bombay issuing our interview sometime in early november. Which i can handle since i will be in india anyways.

So, I called the NVC and the rather abrupt woman on the phone told me to "ignore" the AVR message and email. I fully plan on calling back and talking to someone a little more...human. But she pretty much said that there wasn't anything wrong according to what records she had available, and to ignore the message. I'm not entirely convinced, though.

Did you already send DS3032 in e-mail to NVC using the VJ Wiki template. If yes then you may not need to send the hard copy again. Just pay the AOS bill and the online portal.
