To CCNKC: Hey keep in touch with me since my wife and I are also going through the Hong Kong Consulate.

Just to let everyone else know, I started a September NVC thread. I still have not received my NVC case number yet, so I decided to start a thread for Septmeber. I could have swore that someone had already started one, but I couldnt find it.

Well anyways, I will still stop by time after time to see how everyone is doing and to give Teya and TomD a hard time :thumbs:

I left it blank because she never lived any other place. I got the RFE from the AVR and then called NVC to see what was wrong. I havent received the checklist yet.

I dont know how to fix the RFE yet. I need to search for the forums.

Understand and easy to do. I would think they could handle something as simple as that on the phone and during the interview. Guess its job security... My wife has only live in one place since birth also. Just got lucky and filled in that address because it said include present address there. Nice to know they are reviewing yours though. Hope they are jumping all over mine too... So we can MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT along... :dance::thumbs::lol:

For question 30 i put down her current address. BUT i put her street address under City or Town. FRICK!!!! I guess this would cause the RFE..

By instinct i put her whole address down when in fact all they wanted was the town name. Talk about STUPID on my part.

You got to be kidding me. These nimrods cant figure that out. :blink::wacko::angry: No wonder they are behind if they are unable to decipher and see whats going on with something this easy. How stupid. I fear to think what they do when the room in the blank provided is not adequate. I ran into that situation several times. :bonk::bonk:

You are under so much pressure when you fill out these forms, so sorry you made a mistake... I am like ok another day and thanking there is no RFE, but you never know.... Good luck and hope you can get it resolved real soon. Now on Monday it's a holiday, lets hope it doesn't slow things down so much, they are finally starting to go a little faster!! :thumbs:

if you make a mistake and you notice it, you can send in a new copy of the file before they send you the RFE.

I just wanted to share with you we finally got our interview date, we received the email last night and it was set for Oct. 22nd. I'm still confused on how is it that NVC only schedules the 2nd week of the month... beats me, but I'm glad we finally have it!
