B.B.- You might get your good news this coming week! I sure hope so. If not, the 10 days should be up, right?

Tom- When Is saw that you got a SIF, I thought, "How is that even possible? He hasn't started the NVC process yet." Hahahaha. Yeah, I'm doing ok... :wacko: Well, maybe it will be right around the corner. Good thing you checked. Mine is memorized on there so I won't have that problem ever (or I would go berzerk). Thanks for your luck, I will surely need it!!!

kim- Once you get the I-130 approval notice, your case goes to the NVC after about a week. Since your priority date is current (which means you won't have to wait extra for them to process your case before they start working on it at the NVC) you can get your case number and go through the other steps like everyone else. If you do get citizenship before your case is done at the NVC, I would def report it (not only because it might help with processing but because I think you have to legally since your status will no longer be LPR...I'm not sure though). Like Tom said, I would check somewhere else with people who have been in your situation just in case. Good luck!

8/20:10: Approved/NOA2

9/03/10: NVC # generated, gave e-mail adds

9/08/10: Received IV/AOS fee bill

9/09/10: Paid AOS/IV

9/13/10: Mailed completed AOS, enetered into the system on 9/14

9/19/10: Mailed completed DS-230, entered into the system on 9/22

10/13/10: CASE COMPLETE!!!

04/06/11: Case upgraded from F2A to CR-1

05/03/11: Final review completed

05/17/11: Interview date scheduled!

05/20/11: Forwarded case to USEM

06/10/11: Interview - APPROVED!!!

To CCNKC: Hey keep in touch with me since my wife and I are also going through the Hong Kong Consulate.

Just to let everyone else know, I started a September NVC thread. I still have not received my NVC case number yet, so I decided to start a thread for Septmeber. I could have swore that someone had already started one, but I couldnt find it.

Well anyways, I will still stop by time after time to see how everyone is doing and to give Teya and TomD a hard time :thumbs:

is good indication of 'documents complete' at NVC.

if yer still calling in to NVC to check for status, here's some things to listen 'for', when speaking to a NVC Human -

--final review

--appointment date set

--casefile left NVC, bound to HKG.

Jesal WHAT! You didnt put down the adress of places lived? :whistle: Ouch~~~ How did you get the RFE email or mail? How do you fix that RFE send in the answer to # 30 with the rest of the form blank or submit a complete new form identified as Revision 1...

I left it blank because she never lived any other place. I got the RFE from the AVR and then called NVC to see what was wrong. I havent received the checklist yet.

I dont know how to fix the RFE yet. I need to search for the forums.

Blah.
