CCNKC- If you have paid your IV bill fee and printed out the coversheet then I think so. NVC does send you an e-mail after your IV bill shows as paid stating that you must send in that e-mail with the packet.

Any idea if we can send out the DS-230 before receiving the instruction packet from NVC?

Any idea if we can send out the DS-230 before receiving the instruction packet from NVC?

If you are using the ONLINE PAYMENT PORTAL -

you really should not wait on NVC to send you 'anything' -

GOT NVC NUMBER, It was entered into the system on June 30th!! So now I just have to wait till Monday to speak to a "HUMAN" as Darnell says and give them my hubby's e-mail and my e-mail. Teya when I get someone on the phone should I then tell them that my case was expedited at USCIS and want to continue with that with NVC stage?

I got everything ready so I will be finishing up all forms today!! Very happy and thankful to God, for He knows all situations and all is under His control!!

Just like Darnell told you give your email and your hubby e-mail then tell the NVC OP that your case is expedite, b/c the OP they dont know if your case was expedited from USCIS. before you send your IV and AOS to NVC you need to e-mail to PI Supervisor Sue to request expedite for your case at NVC so that by the time your IV and your AOS get to NVC Supervisor Sue will read your request e-mail. Just in time for you to be in and out from NVC

When writing to NVC, write case number, beneficiary's name and date of birth and petitioner's name and date of birth first in the body of the email. As the subject line: ATTN: PI SUPERVISOR SUE

So, when should I expect that receipt email from NVC as the payment portal just showed as "PAID" yesterday.

Also remember when you call to have the birthdate ready for both parties. They will be asking you for it. They also ask my phone number in US...

uhm............. NO - don't expect any 'receipt email'.

HOWEVER -

go back to the portal, and PRINT the coversheet. Then take the coversheet, put it on top of yer pile o papers, send it all in.

hmmm

most ppl that are 'wanting speed' and push things into NVC, based on when the coversheets are available to be generated at the online payment portal,

do not see this email message, as this email message USUALLY comes in when things are lagged from the petitioner/beneficiary's side.

No worries, though - NVC is changing up a lot - the crazy thing is, is still acceptable to send things in once each coversheet is available at the payment portal.
