Perfect. Good info. Thanks a lot. My wife just submitted to get her name changed. So i will have her take the cover sheet and try to get PCC once i get the approval which is taking forever.

I agree with Emily on the prayer part :thumbs:

Tom you are sending by US postal office next day or UPS?

Wow good question. One day or 3-4 Humm. I think because my wife needs some extra time I will use the USPS. I just sent her an email telling her I have done all my work!Once I send it in the IV Package to them TAG she it it!!! haha I am sure that will get a response. :rofl: In reality though she is the one who will have to do most of the other things... Put her copy of the packages together, gather correspondence and photos of us, get her Shot record updated to meet USA VISA requirements, get her physical, and go to the Embassy for her interview... Hope she is ready... I know she will be feeling the pressure now but I have been telling her to do it as we go. Lets see what happens. :innocent::whistle:

I called the NVC on August 4, gave them mine and my husband's emails. We have since sent in our DS-3032 and opted in for email and received our confirmation email. But we have not received anything further. Shouldn't we be getting our AOS bill by now ?

What confirmation letter? You should have the pay portal show your invoice for I-864 by now. Keep checking the pay online page. Mine was there alot faster. I got my only a few days after the NVC number.

Yes absolutely. I wonder how come no one even tried going in without the checklist.

well now,once you pay AOS bill just take the damn cover and they will let you in.

BTW, if your spouse has not added your name to his/her passport, tell him/her to do it so, because only after this they will proceed further.

but damnit!! a new passport just bcs it didnt have ur spouse name on it?! had u given ur earlier passport copy to USCIS? now if ur passport is newly issued, PCC from local police station is irrelevant..

Yep but sadly i already sent in my IV forms without the PCC. :wacko:

Wife is going in a couple days to try to get the PCC with the coverletter/receipt. She already has a new passport with her married name so thats not a problem.

After i get it I want to see if i can send it into NVC before they even issue my RFE. Guessing no?

What a buzzkill, if only i knew about this just a week ago. But even then the wife was too scared to TRY to get the PCC without the checklist/RFE.

Hey some doubts, friends..

1. For whoever filled i864, did you write 'N/A' or leave the fields blank ?

For ds-230 i remember they specifically said not to leave fields blank.. but for i864 i dont see such an instruction. Many fields are left blank in the sample form in VJ. Makes me a lil confused.

2. Also, the intending immigrant will be listed in household of BOTH the petitioner and joint sponsor, right? (this is a case of two I864 forms)

3. For question number 23a , 23. My current individual annual income is: $

suppose the petioner has been working from only March, do we still multiply the bi-weekly pay-stub amount by 26 ? It asks for annual..so safe to multiply by 26?
