Hello everyone,

My AOS bill shows as paid on the payment portal, but my DS-230 bill is still not available to be paid.

why is it so ? Its been a week since i emailed them the DS-3032.

The DS-3032 still has to be received in the mailroom, then wind it's way OUT of the mailroom, to the sorting room, to the data entry clerk , and then there's a queue. At some point, it will be reviewed, and then the DS-3032 will be added to yer casefile, some tick mark checked off internally,

and when that happens -

the IV/DS-230 fee bill will show up in the online payment portal.

Remember - the DS-230 is the VISA APPLICATION for the Foreign Spouse - so without any 'Choice of Agent' on File, it's useless for the NVC to proceed with the DS-230 collection.

Hang in there - I predict 7 to 11 more days before that DS-3032 is ticked 'received' and added to the casefile.

I could be wrong, of course. NVC has massive slow down these few months, supposedly because of the 'Haitian Asylum' Processing. grrrr.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thanks Darnell I am having the same problem or situation. Its nuts. When I called in the agent didn't even seem to know my stuff had arrived at the NVC based on her responses on the phone.

ak205 You and I are waiting for the same thing I will post as soon as I get mine and you do the same ... Hopefully we are not far from receiving it. Darnell's prediction scares me haha :hehe: but I liked the Grrrr part ...

My wife sent in her DS 3032 from her work email account. The NVC does not have that email account information on her. I dont know if that makes a difference? Just to be on the safe side I ask her to send it again from her Yahoo account. I dont know why she did it that way in the first place other than it was easier. I know she hates it when I question things that she has done but then I hate to have to do it  I just which she could use better deductive reasoning sometimes. I hate being the bad guy... I just want to remove all doubt or not have us be the cause of any delay. :innocent::whistle:

I m from gujarat and i went to ahmedabad passport office yesterday to get the PCC.

First of all they did not let me in without the checklist, when i showed them the document cover sheet which gets generated after we paid the AOS fee bill they let me in. After that i stood in the freaking line for like 45 mins. then when my turn came they told me to get my husband's name in my passport that is to make a new passport in itself. what the heck is that ??

Then they took fees of 2800 rs for tatkal passport and 300 for PCC they have told that i will get both the new passport and the PCC in that in 4-5 days.

So finally i m over with this hoping to get my passport and pcc by saturday. My husband is reaching India on 21st so crossing my fingers that our DS-230 bill is available to be paid by then and i can send all the contents of the DS-230 packet to my husband so that the package can be sent to NVC before he is in India.
