Just a lame question.

Does NVC keep record of who calls how many times ? :P:D

Because i already called them twice and still havent got any email from them. I hope they dont get all annoyed that i m asking them too many times :P

Should i call again and tell them to email me ?

Hi ak

Just curious how long did you have to wait to get your first Invoice by e mail? My husband sent the choice of agent as an email and they actually sent a response that they received it, but have not heard nothing yet.

thanks for your reply!

Thanks Nica, Jesal & Triaxxx. I will just keep checking until invoiced shows. I have my DS package at the ready!!! Boy we have been playing in this pool for a long time now. This stuff is starting to seem simple.:P Remember when you took your first jump into the pool OMG :wow::blink: I was totally lost and feeling inadequate. Now were giving advice haha. Such is life... Thanks again fellas...

TomD

I paid someone to help me out with the I-130 cause I was petrified to make a mistake, she charged me like over 250 bucks, not doing that again... I have learned so much here and the good thing is that when you are stuck and you ask the dumbest question someone always gets back to you. I translated all my documents and did all the forms with the help of all of you. When i get ready to send... get ready for all the questions I will be posting! LOL

Have a great day people! and thank you all once again!

Emily, good morning!

When you say they sent a response that they received it, do you mean the auto-response? If yes, it doesn't mean anything other than that your email reached nvc inbox. They typically take around a week to process the email and enter your DS3032 acceptance into their system. Thats the time they generate the AOS bill and send to you as well. Check my signature for how it worked for me...

Now a question to you, i know they say you must show huge financial loss, some catastrophe or something of the sort to expedite the case. But how does it work actually..typically what questions they ask and what details are we supposed to give? We have been seeing quite a few cases expedited these days. Well, its been some 6 months away from each other and we would do anything legally right to get into the expedited route.. :(

Good Luck to you..

Hey, i got the email two weeks after NVC gave me the case number. May be they are running slow right now.

But as you have given an expedite request, i think you should get it soon.

Hello,

It was an auto respose, thanks for the clarification!!

As for the expedite request, at least for me it was something that they themselves posted on the USCIS website. It was a benefit for the immediate relatives of USC and Permanent Residents, due to the earthquake in Chile. But believe it or not my request for an expedited application was denied at the NVC stage. I will call on Monday to ask why since it is a benefit they decided to give for Chilean Immigrants I will keep you posted.

Good luck to you as well! :)

I see that on 16th Jul 2010 Rcvd 3032/ AOS Bill...I didn't get that email yet, it's just like you said it was an auto response. You got yours fast, I hope to get that email next week!!

YEah I know that KB but its what they said. Not me. I was just reading what they put on their site about my delivery. I gues I want them to explain what part is correct and what isnt to me. Then Redeliver... I darn sure dont want to rely on a government worker to go down to the PO or email for redelivery.

OMG its a government Conspiracy... I just hope this will not delay the NVC from getting our package by days... We paid good money for service...that should be equally as good. Once I sent some College Science books and Research books to another country in the Carabean. Well I had to spend money to do this for the postage and I also got a break because they were books. These were some faily large boxes. Well one day in the mail I get this letter from the post office with only my lable in the envelop and it stated that this was found on the ground at some loading center. They as if I could discribe what was in the box. I did but I figured it was lost. I took the label which also showed the postage price I paid and the letter that I got to the local post office and They would not refund my $$. I was PI$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ed. So anytime I can get over ON the Government I do...I figured out if its good for them it must be equally good for me...
