Jesal, when you say in there are you saying they just post it in the pay on line without sending notice? I though they would send you a DS 3032 reciepts email then generate the IV Billing. I am on my way to the post office to send my I-864 AOS. Its about 1/2" Thick...

In there = payment portal

I didnt wait for any emails from them. As soon as the invoice was available to be paid in the payment portal, i paid it.

I did however receive the DS3032 approval about 2 hours after i paid the IV invoice. So i guess they are issued at the same time?

Blah.

I agree. This is what happened with my IV bill. The notice/invoice never came even after paying the AOS for a week already. But it was available to be paid in the portal. If I'm not mistaken, it was Tokyo lovers or sachinky which advised me to go ahead and pay.

Bottom line, if the AOS fee or IV bill "tick box" is not on "ghost mode", or as long as you can click on it, then go ahead and pay it.

Just a lame question.

Does NVC keep record of who calls how many times ? :P:D

Because i already called them twice and still havent got any email from them. I hope they dont get all annoyed that i m asking them too many times :P

Should i call again and tell them to email me ?

Go ahead you already pi$$ed them off. They will probably hang up on you next time, JK No they dont track that .. heck they can barely track what they need to . Dont worry about that at all. But I would not get them angry on the phone cause they might be able to do something then :bonk::help:

Triaxxx,

I went to the online payment page and it had the IV their under my wifes name but it said not invoiced yet in the status part of the line. So I didnt even try to pay. Do you remember if your was like this.:huh: I guess maybe I should have tried but I would think it has to be invoiced first. I just paid my AOS day before yesterday.

Wait till it changes to "NOT PAID" then go ahead and pay it. Mine had said not invoiced before it switched to not paid so you are fine.

Yes TomD it has to be invoiced first. As a matter of fact I believe it won't let you pay even if you try.

Well while sitting around doing nothing... I was looking at the NVC site and found this information. Its somewhat relevant to what were doing. It shows what country people are applying from for Family Visa and Work Visa... Interesting to me is those countries applying for Family Visas like ours are almost non existent in the Work side of the house. It also shows to me what countries have the better educated people. Yes I know when we speak about individuals all countries have educated and uneducated. But percentage wise I think it tells us alot.

For example on VJ site there are many people from India and Philippines. But you dont see a high % for Philippines on the work side but with India you do. Some countries are off the map. To me this shows that India has lots of educated people that are being recruited for work. Other countries have none. When I use to work I would on occasion do ANALYTICAL AUDITS on Laboratories. When I visited them most of the leadership and staff were first generation from China & India, and many had PhD's. They struggled with the English Language but they knew there stuff. Here is the link.

Ok so I called NVC... first I confirmed my husband's email and it's correct. Then I asked about the expedited request... He told me the I was sent an email on the fourth (which I never got by the way) so he put me on hold and told me it was denied! I thought you could continue with it so I guess not!! and by the way I checked my email all folders and guess what email "NOT THERE" the waiting game begins!! I am still grateful for USCIS expediting my application, I am still ahead of the game!

So that is my update!!

Tom- Ain't that the truth! I remeber feeling like I had no idea what I was doin and now I've got it down pretty well.

Emily- That's too bad but at least you did get a jump start like you said.

Any SIF's? Jeez, August has around 15 interviews and Sept has 2 or 3 at the most. How pitiful! I wonder if October is going to be jam full of people or if they will wait until November.

When my wife sent the email with DS-3020 she didn´t got an auto response email, and resend that same email two days latter, nothing bad happened. We received the email approval for DS3020 after six or seven days for the first email sent. But your case is different, and if operator told you they didn´t have your wife´s email address maybe it is a good idea to send that email again.

Godd luck
