Yep im expecting for that to happen. :wacko:

BUT good news is my cousin is getting married in India in January and ALL of my family will be there for it. So it wouldnt be THAT bad to go that time.

So much for proving to my family that this process can be done in 8 months. :rofl:

Ha, if i get that checklist before you go then maybe i will have you bring it. We will see how its timed.

I did ask my wife, she said she has heard its very nice but has never been there. Have you tried google and look for some reviews from others who may have been there?

Hi Folks, guess i should shuffle into this thread since NVC appears to have gone to sleep on us. My AOS and DS230 have been awaiting review for 5 weeks now and still no sign of movement. Operator says wait 6-8 weeks. What worries me is we are all assuming they mean it WILL be reviewed by then, but from what i have seen there hasn't been any CR1/IR1 get case complete for almost 6 weeks now. That worries me because really we have no markers, therefore we have no real idea how long its taking them to review IR1/CR1's since this slow down/complete road block began. :unsure:

We waited 8 months for them to get round to looking and approving our I130(no RFE) and now this!!!!! :angry: It's cruel to torture good honest people like this, when thier only crime is having fallen in love and married an American :crying:

I'm getting excited because someone posted in another thread that he or she had SIF tonight. Documents were either delivered or started processing on July 15, 2010. I will take this bit of information with hope for all of us to get SIF and/or CC soon.

02-25-2010 : Received NVC case number, but NVC is closed, so I can't give an operator our emails. :-(

02-27-2010 : Jumped the gun and emailed the VJ version of the DS 3032. Who knows what will happen :-)

03-01-2010 : Gave the operator both emails...waiting on DS3032 kit

03-02-2010 : Received DS3032 Kit; Resent DS3032 (just in case), Received AOS bill.

03-03-2010 : Paid AOS and IV bills; both are IN PROCESS

03-03-2010 : VJ email version of the DS3032 accepted (It was the one that was sent on 02-27-2010)

03-11-2010 : Both AOS + IV showed paid but processed on 03-05-2010 :-)

03-12-2010 : Mailed AOS packet. Waiting on my procrastinating hubby to send me his IV docs :-(

03-15-2010 : AOS signed for by St. Laurent at 10:03 a.m.

07-19-2010 : Received IV documents from hubby (Finally)

08-20-2010 : Called NVC and was told that we received a "stupid" RFE on 08-18-2010

09-03-2010 : RFE sent to the NVC today....SIF please come quickly.

09-07-2010 : RFE signed for by Desmond at 10:16 a.m.

09-10-2010 : NVC acknowledges receipt of the RFE

09-30-2010 : SIF

10-01-2010 : Case complete as per NVC AVR

10-05-2010 : Interview date assigned for November 29, 2010 at 7:00 a.m. Approved

Oh Snow TEYA White did you have to say BELLY!!! haha :P I have been working on my AOS and have it mostly completed. I am putting a letter in there to hopefully steer there thinking regarding my not having a job by choice after spending 4 yrs in Iraq haha. I even went as far as mentioning my Viet Nam experience... But I also discussed things like being able to collect SS in 2 yrs. I also spoke on my wife having a Masters Degree albeit from PI and been employed with the same organization for 16 years now and that she will be a positive asset to the US and will be looking to continue her career. Basically I hit them from several sides so Let see how that works when the time comes. Now I just need to make copies of my bank and broker statements. Had them done but now I need to start over because the ones I made are 4 months old... :unsure:

Thanks Darnell, the packet 3 checklist that i was reading was INDEED from a post about DCF. Guess i had missed that part when reading it. :thumbs:

Anywho, everything sent and now i wait for the RFE for lack of PCC.

Hey did you try getting the regional PCC by showing them the checklist ?

One of the VJ member here suggested that you can show them the checklist and they will give you the PCC without any problems.

HI all. Well I have been burning the candle to get my AOS completed. I think I have completed my I-864 and will be mailing it off tomorrow. I just have a feeling I am missing something. SO I will go over it again tomorrow morning and see if a clear head helps. Are you guys stapling this package together? Mine is rather large because I dont have a job so I had to provide my complete financials...I has so many different accounts that I put a table together to assist them ... See how helpful I am. I also put a letter together asking them to recognize its sensitive and proprietary information and they need to take care to minimize any potential for misuse or theft... I guess that will make them happy... :rofl:
